Any meal that comes with a couple dilled green beans and a spicy pickle is off to a very good start! My Philly cheese steak was excellent - great bread, and sweet yellow peppers. The home fries looked good, but getting a salad instead proved to be an excellent choice - the side salad was large and fresh and flavorful. The art on the walls was fun to see too.

Obviously a family operation. We drove through the Notch one day and looked for a place for a sandwich on the Jeffersonville Side. Excellent stop. HUGE selection of sandwiches that are well made. Tons of fillings. Had a maple cheesecake square, excellent. Would much rather grab a sandwich here than spend double for the same thing on the other side. The breakfast sandwiches looked really good even though I didn't have one. I can see stopping here before hitting the mountain.

Welcome to Martell's at the Red Fox! Join us for nightly specials and musical entertainment! Open at 1:00 pm seven days a week! Dinner every night from 4-9 pm. Late night food on music nights! Closed major holidays. Family owned and operated.
The restaurant was busy with local people the evening we were there. There is obviously live music sometimes but not when we were there. The service and drinks were good and the food was OK. Nothing special.

There were three of us and we each enjoyed our meals. The beef dip was really good and our server was very pleasant.

Fantastic food and friendly service! We like to sit in the Pub area and always strike up a conversation with the Bartender or other guests.

Easily the best meal on our vacation. A little pricey, but thatâs because my kids love steak! Food was excellent and the service was as well.

My husband and I had lunch at Brewster River Pub while visiting Stowe . The Mixed Grill was outstanding! Iâve never had better cornbread. The server was so friendly and knowledgeable about the food and beer available. We had a great experience. Will definitely return!

Jefferson, Vermont near Smugglers Notchâs has a small restaurant known as 158. We happened into it one morning while visiting. The breakfast was fresh with their homemade baked bread. In fact, it was easy to share. And since we stayed so close, twice we had dinner there. The vegetables were in season and house salad had the best fresh lettuces. We were pleasantly surprised by delicious servings. Obviously this was a gem we kept on our list of finds.Thank you for the kind words
