Things to do in Iligan
As a I am a westerner, my belly yearns for a great burger once in a while. I used to travel from Mindanao to Manila to get a great burger from Filling Station in Makati. Now I discovered Castle Rock Burger in Robinsons Mall in Iligan city!!When I stood outside the store I did not see many Filipinos inside, then I knew for sure the food would be great! I was not disappointed, the burger I ordered was filling and delicious! The fries I ordered were tasty and of a good size! In a short period I have been back 7 times and I enjoyed the burger experience each time. The prices are very reasonable. If you love a whopping big tasty burger with lots of choices, Castle Rock will rock you!
This McDonald's was new in 2013. Food is typical McDonald's fare and a nice change from the local food once in awhile. This is about the only place serving dill pickles! Service is good and the restaurant is kept very clean. They use to have WiFi, but no longer. I think that is because they stay very busy. There is quite a bit of seating, so can usually find a seat without any problem even during busy times. It is located right across the highway from MSUIIT, so there are usually many young people here. Good off street parking and they have a drive-thru. Open 24hrs. It is worth a visit.

The service is very good and the staff are friendly and very pretty. Pretty much the only reason I have lunch there. The food is typical chain style and rarely wavers from its business model. One good or bad point it is always busy and it can be difficult to find a seat. Best time to go is a ramadam time.
Been here twice. Loved their buffalo wings. Their sizzling squid was mostly tentacles but taste good though and very spicy. They should also consider putting electric mosquito killers. Saw a NO SMOKING sign, but the guy on the next table was smoking. Their gravel flooring makes some of their tables and chair unstable. We were also greeted by 3 lazy dogs at the entrance. They should also provide proper parking area. But nonetheless, I would still live to visit the place and try their other dishes.
The specialty of the house is chicken. There are other foods on the menu but battered chicken is the king here. The place is clean and well airconditioned. It can get quite busy but on most occasions you can get right in. This Resto offers good value for money and you can bring your children and they will enjoy the food. This place offers good value for money for what they offer.
I used to eat here quite a bit. Yet I have been going there only if I am in the area and I want a quick meal. How do describe this place? Clean, fairly good food, nice service. It can be likened to a diner rather than a Resto or cafe. It has a Macdonalds style menu only that chicken is heavily featured. I have noticed the quantities have become smaller and the prices have risen slightly. Sometimes the quality differs from day to day. On the plus side it's cheap and it is quick.

went in for lunch, ordered a few dishes and was served an hour after. place was dim and crowded and the ventilation was poor, the place smells like the kitchen and I'm sure it sticked to my clothes which is very bad especially when you're going somewhere else after. Waiters ignore you when you call them. However, the grilled pork kinilaw which was served an hour after had amazing flavour but not enough to make me come in and dine again. Price, expensive for its worth.

I went here aline craving for pizza. They only have outdoor seating which is ok during the evenings and not during the summer mornings. The place has plenty of tables and it wasn't full when I got there. I ordered the smallest (11") Pepperoni Pizza and a coke. It taste really good especially when it was hot. Since they use real mozzarella, you have to eat it while it's hot because mozzarella tends to be rubbery when cold. The pizza was well spiced. I wasn't able to finish it so I had the remainder packed to-go. The person in-charge if packing handled the left-over pizza like a piece of thing other than food. After seeing him pick up the pizza, tore it like cardboard using hands with plastic gloves, I wondered if the one who cooked it handles the pizza the same. Although the pizza tasted good, this took put a good point from Caldas.

It's an old cafe but still remains standing until now. They have renovated already their interiors and it looked nice! My fave is the spirelli salad & the banofe pie.
