When we stopped for gas at the oasis, we went inside the oasis itself. Subway is one of several restaurants that is located inside. The staff was friendly. We ordered a classic tuna to share and everything about it was fresh and what was supposed to be crispy was. The prices are just a bit higher than regular Subways, probably since it is in a government operated oasis. There is plenty of seating on the concourse and if you're with your kids or grandkids, not only can they watch traffic move along beneath you, but there is also a play area for them to play and burn off some energy.

I was there just after 1pm. It was about 50% full. We asked for a booth. Many were open, but had been cleaned. Seemed short staffed. Took a while to get served, even as the crowd diminished. No one cleaning tables. Waitress' overworked. Slow service. Good food!
Stopped here randomly because my traveling companion had never had a Krispy Kreme Donut. When we walked in, we were not greeted or even acknowledged for quite awhile, as the employees were having a little conversation between themselves. When we asked for a sample, we were told they didn't offer those once the original frosted were done being made at 9:00am. Which is fine -- but maybe you could offer a smile and say "sorry" somewhere in that response? We each had a donut, but they tasted pretty sour after this interaction. Not sure my companion will ever want to visit Krispy Kreme again.
See what the Colonel's cooking at your local KFC. Stop in today and enjoy our world famous chicken - it's Finger Lickin' Good!
Not sure who owns this franchise - wouldnât be surprised if they live in the Bahamas. It has zero leadership, zero sense of urgency, zero organization. This is based on frequent visits at lunch. Owner, get involved. KFC, protect your franchise brand...
We discovered Freddy's in Kansas recently so whenever we travel in different directions we look to see if we can find one. On our way to take our Grandson to O'Hare we asked Siri for a Freddy's and sure enough we found one in Homewood, Illinois 1/2 south of I-80 (there's also a Krispy Kreme). Hamburgers were delicious, fries are GREAT, we ate so much we couldn't eat any custard. Service was friendly and accomodating. We are going back up to O'Hare to pick up our Grandson and you can be assured we'll stop at Freddy's for lunch.

Submarines, Great Reubens, Bbq Beef, Soups, Drive Thru, Ice Creams And Soft Serve Fast Food?
The best patty melt, nachos, sandwiches there are. We frequent Subport at least twice a month. Good size portions and great service.

Staff was very attentive. Seated right away and food came out rather quickly. Coffee was DELICIOUS!!! My teenage daughter had the Vanilla Chai Tea and was pleased. My toddler was happy with her coloring sheet:) definitely coming back and want to share this great place to eat the most important meal of the day. Nice team work is evident with the great service.

We went on Sunday around 4pm; late lunch/early dinner. The restaurant was busy but not full. We were seated on the bar side of the restaurant and there were plenty of tables available there. The atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. This was my first visit to Glenwood Oaks Rib & Chop House. A friend local to the area took me there. The fresh bread was warm and good. The lobster bisque was flavorful. I prefer lobster bisque that at least has some noticeable chunks or bits in it. This did not but it didn't detract from the meal. The ribs were delicious and the highlight of my meal. And the potatoes served in a small bowl (think a large scoop of ice cream) were good. Standard beer selections with a couple of crafts available. Our server left much to be desired. She seemed very impatient and put out. My friend and I hadn't seen each other for over a year and it was to be a relaxing meal to catch up. Minutes after being seated the waitress introduced herself and asked about drinks. When I asked about craft beer options her tone came off as irritable. She handed me a beer card from her server wallet and walked away to get my friend's Coke. Upon her return I ordered my beer selection. When she returned with that she asked if we were ready to place the food order. I explained that this would be a slow mean since two old friends were catching up. Again I felt this somehow annoyed her. I made sure to have my dinner selected minutes later upon her return as I didn't want to risk exasperating her any further. Maybe she was working both rooms. I'm unsure. But on our side it wasn't so busy. I enjoyed the food but for the cost, I feel service could definitely have been better.

Lately I've been on a quest for find a really great pulled pork (sandwich or platter) which is how we wound up here. Especially when you look at other places they have really good prices.I had the pulled pork platter with fries and mac and cheese. It should have come with bread, which they forgot but there was more than enough food that it wasn't missed. The mac and cheese was a little bland. Not the typical elbow macaroni you usually see, instead a longer noodle. My wife and I loved the fries. More the type you get some where like 5 Guys burgers, a little darker with the skin still on some. I knew the pork wasn't going to the be end of my search when it came out rather heavily coated in sauce (sauce was good). Overall the pork was good but I feel most of the flavor probably due to the amount of sauce was from the sauce. Kind of hard to tell. Still made a great lunch. My wife had chicken Caesar wrap which she enjoyed with her fries. Overall a nice stop and if in the area again I wouldn't hesitate to stop at again. From the signs on the walls they seem to have a decent or growing selection of different beers. There is also a display with cupcakes and brownies for dessert.
