Reviews on American food in Diego Martin, Trinidad, Caribbean. Diego Martin is an urban commercial center and capital of the Diego Martin Region in Trinidad and Tobago. Its location in the region is just on the south eastern border of Diego Martin Region, West of the capital city of Port of Spain and east of the town of Carenage. The Diego Martin Town in the Northern Range was once filled with a number of small valleys but is now a densely populated area. It was named after a Spanish explorer Don Diego Martín. The area was settled by French planters and their slaves in the 1780s. It consists of a cluster of communities including Congo Village, Diamond Vale, Green Hill, Patna Village, Petit Valley, Blue Range, La Puerta Avenue, Four Roads, Rich Plain, River Estate, Blue Basin, Water Wheel, West Moorings, Bagatelle and Sierra Leone.

Trader Jack's Island Grill is a great casual restaurant and bar. Visited on four occasions and the food and drinks were consistent in terms of quality. I would recommend it for lunch or casual dinner with friends or teens. Drinks and appetizers as an option is also a choice off of the menu.

This place is amazing. Wonderful location with parking if you have a car and wonderful food. Very professional attentive waiters, best we have come across in Trinidad and Tobago and quick and efficient service. Beautiful interiors again best we have come across.Delicious food so much so we had 2 lunches at the pub bar downstairs. Quite reasonable priced too given the quality. If you’re lucky Jenny herself might wander over to say hi and she’s an amazing hostess. Highly recommended.

Been here a few times and I'm always impressed with the nice ambience, good food, friendly service and amazing cocktails. The Bellini and Queen's Park Swizzler are definitely worth mentioning and I'd encourage anyone to try them...again and again!! Lots of tvs on different sport channels so a great place to come chill with friends to catch a game or just relax. I already see this being our go-to spot to hang out.

Located in Royal Palm Hotel , Katos offers a nice vibe. The crowd is young and professional so may be a good place toNetwork.

what can be better wings and beer. Service was a bit slow and they didn't have as many beers as in the past but the food and drinks were consistent and overall good Evelyn...thanks for your review...we really do appreciate it....as most of our beers are imported we sometimes have spaces in between shipments were we do run out of a few beers, but we try to maintain a minimum of 100 beers on any given night...we do apologize if we didn't have your beers on the day you visited but rest assured we have a shipment coming in EVERY month to satisfy your taste and also tempt you with some new brews that we bring in along with the regular / popular brands..please let us know when next you will visit and we will show you some of the new brews in stock !Joe P

An upscale new twin level dining restaurant providing authentic thai cuisine by a Thailand trained chef, as well as Chinese and American dishes
Had lunch there after many many years. The ambiance is quite good after that long absence. The wait staff is attentive. The Host was very friendly. The menu listed a variety of dishes for one to choose. The service was on spot and the food very tasty. I could return there soon. Parking is a premium though.
Hot Subs is an intimate sandwich shop, established in 2005, serving up a worldly inspired tour of flavors! With 2 convenient locations at Grand Bazaar & West Mall, it's the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. Using fresh, quality ingredients
I enjoyed the pasta with chicken, shrimp, parmesan cheese and peppers. It was so delicious! Compared to other restaurants I dined in or saw what persons received; this restaurant is a place you will get the right quantity and quality for an affordable price. The pasta I ate was so filling and amazing! I even bought a garlic bread. Hot Subs is a place for fine dining. At Hot Subs you can buy salads, pastas, subs and pananis. I dined at Shops of Arima for lunch. Best place you can go!

We have visited 4 times since introduction of their new menu and I’m not happy to report that the consistency and standards have dropped somewhat. I’m confused as to why they would remove popular items to make room for unenticing things. Some changes mystify me like removal of crab cakes from their menu! We used to love their crab cakes and would go there just to have them. But it is certainly not because they no longer stock crab meat, as they still offer crab wantons! How bizarre! We also loved their fried onion bloom with various dipping sauces and that has gone too. Such a simple and quick-preparation item, and poof…disappeared from the menu! Also, there are long-preparation items on the menu now like the two sushi rolls, but it is often not available as perhaps only certain chefs on duty can prep those special items. And when they do have it, you’ve got to really love it bad to wait for it as it takes at least 45 minutes to prepare! I’m confused as to why they would remove simple-prep offerings and add items that require more time and effort to prepare? It just doesn’t make any sense to me. I still love the staff and would love to continue giving them my support but as my husband would say….’why change something that doesn’t need changing?’ There used to be a nice football vibe in Trotters on a Saturday and on this occasion, we walked in with no game on the main screen (yes, believe it or not!) and whilst they were willing to put on what we wanted to see in our dining area, there was zero volume. Gone is the upbeat music too so the place just seems dead and of now lacks the vibrant atmosphere. I would honestly say that I’m a fan of the old Trotters. Bring back the old Trotters please!

I can never eat all I get on my plate although it's light fare.Wait staff could be a bit more vigilant but it's a chilled out spot so you are a bit more tolerant unless you're super hungry.Tasty club sandwiches and the spicy wings are good.Great place to meet with friends if you don't want to leave the hotel.Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
