Located on the premises of the legendary Ingleside Inn, Melvynâs is elegantly upbeat and the home of authentic Hollywood glamour. Indulge in signature classics like Steak Diane and Steak au Poivre cooked tableside, along with a classic spinach salad tosse
I get the hype of the times but I really didnât feel it. Wilted spinach salad was just sautéed spinach. Lot of food for just one person. Crab cakes appetizer was tasty but small. Now to the steak Diane. Great presentation but something was missing. Finally figured it out it was the cream in the sauce. I saw it made on the food network but when I called them on it after the fact they said a new chef eliminated the cream. I hate when anew chef comes in and has to prove theyâre smarter and change something. If something has worked for years why change it. We were celebrating our anniversary and only was offered a cheesey pana cotta. Would have liked the full dessert menu. Glad we went but probably wonât go back. Parking is also a problem. Service was very good.

Step into this â40s style Diner for service with a smile. Must try our Cinnamon Roll French Toast for breakfast! For Lunch or Dinner, enjoy our famous Hickory Burger with Fries, American Kobe Sliders served in King's Hawaiian sweet roll, Fresh Roast Turke
We looked at a few eateries without finding one that impressed with either menu or comfort. With Ruby's, at least we know you'll get both. I chose the Sriracha Burger which includes Sriracha Hot Chili sauce, two slices of melted Pepper Jack cheese, jalapenos, thick-cut bacon, lettuce, tomato, cilantro, and Sriracha mayo. Hot and Spicy! Our server Ronaldo was both cheerful and helpful. The diner is always cle a and the food is consistent my good.
I've been looking at the postings for this restaurant and it looked like it had upgraded in it's culinary delights, so we decided to give it another try. Well..... I ordered the fried chicken dinner with a side of mashed potatoes w/bacon gravy and fresh vegetables. This is what I got: 4 heavily breaded deep fried chicken wings that were over cooked and on the dry side just a tad (they were regular sized 3 drummettes and 1 flapper). The mashed potatoes were not hot and had bacon bits and cheese (where's the gravy), but the 3 pieces of asparagus and cut up squash were warm and delish. This came with no side, so I ordered a $5 side salad which were mixed greens, fresh mushrooms, tomatoes and a decent size. For the price of the chicken dinner (you would think you would get at least 6 for that price not 4), I feel they should include the side salad. Then of course, no free refills on the soda which was another $5. The Reuben sandwich was good, but the fries had been sitting on the plate getting cold while the other food was being cooked. We had to ask the waitress if we could get the salad beforehand as we sat there waiting and she brought it out. She was talking with customers (keep in mind we were the only customers in there) that were leaving and we KNEW that our food was waiting patiently getting cold in the kitchen. Which it was. Soooo, after $45 which included a 15% tip that was not deserved, we won't be going back anytime soon. Apparently the burger is the best way to go according to the reviews. Hoping DHS gets a decent restaurant soon besides sushi, pizza, fast food and Mexican.

If you like regular bacon/sausage and eggs breakfast, great place. Real home fries, bacon is thick. If you like Fish & Chips, it is better than in England. Seriously, I'm sitting at the table eating the fish and chips - real fish, perfectly battered, not soggy, fresh - and I say, this is the best fish and chip anywhere. From the next table I hear a tourist from England reply, "You are not wrong there. We are from England and we should have fish & chips this good." True story. But, the Sundae (and banana splits) are tops. Authentic real super good sundae and real no compromise banana splits. The waitresses do a great job.

It has great hamburgers but they have the skinny French fries. Wish they had tator tots or bigger French fries. That is my only complaint . All else is pretty good.

Went here for breakfast. If you order basic bacon and eggs, youâll be fine. Three of us ordered omelettes and were not impressed. First of all, they were served with a slice of processed American cheese laying on the top. (I donât eat processed cheese, as a rule.) My Canadian bacon avocado omelette totally lacked flavor. My friends had the same experience with their omelettes. Waitress was friendly. Had to flag waitress down to get a coffee refill. The environment was small with a lot of âmovie starâ memorabilia on the walls. The place was busy so must be popular with the locals, which is why we chose this restaurant. Prices were reasonable. Would not return.

The Best Date Shakes!!!
Really the best date shakes; nothing else to mention. A nice back patio for sitting and sipping; otherwise, no seating. Be prepared to wait if a tour bus pulls in ahead of you.

WELCOME......The Upscale Casual crisp white interior creates a blank canvas to reflect the diverse colors of the delicious culinary creations that focus on both presentation and flavors. Dine on the Patio or Swanky Lounge. Celebrate in one of the art fill
Read the reviews and decided to try it. Very impressive! Crisp cool decor...wonderful menu choices. We started with a pear salad....very good and inventive (could have used less "melted cinnamon candy" addition to the flavors). My friend had the Chicken Milanese and I had the Chili Rellenos. Both of us were very impressed with the seasonings of both. Very generous portions of meat. Excellent presentation. Even a standard Manhattan cocktail was way above average. Would go here again and again.
