Fine dining in a relaxed, casual atmosphere in the small coastal village of South Brooksville. Buck's is open from mid-May thru mid-October. Phone reservations or walk-ins; no on-line reservations available. Street parking, wi-fi, handicapped bathroom, ai
After a two year hiatus we returned to Buck's restaurant twice in a week. We were very pleased with the welcoming hostesses and the friendly efficient servers. Over two visits we had the chicken and pork chop entrees and the mussel appetizer which is large enough for an entrée. The chicken and mussels were delicious. The pork chop while generously cut and tasty on the outside had little flavor on the inside....marinate maybe? Bland pork chop aside we will be back. We are so glad you enjoyed your time with us. I will pass your kind words on to our dedicated, friendly staff. Regarding your pork chop, I will be sure to let our chef know that you felt it was not very flavorful. Your input helps us to know what we are doing right and to correct our mistakes.

Classic Maine inn with four well appointed rooms, creative food, and neighborhood bar in the center of Brooklin, Maine
We had a wonderful dinner at the Brooklin Inn last night . They worked hard to accommodate us - a large party with late notice - and despite being incredibly busy were gracious and pleasant throughout The service was efficient and friendly and the menu innovative with very locavore , farm to table emphasis focused on fresh seafood with excellent vegetarian and meat options .We especially enjoyed the calamari - Uber fresh local squid prepared in squid ink tempura - light and juicy and crispy and tasty all at the same time - Chef Susannah Taylor really hit a home run with this dish and as San Franciscans we do appreciate out of the ordinary cuisine ! The whole Branzino was perfectly cooked , the vegetable yoghurt labne took us back to Turkey , and the veal tenderloin was tender and tasty .The ambiance was lovely and the noise level pleasant ( until we came !) We will be back soon and say run donât walk to this welcome addition to the culinary scene of the area !
American Style Takeout Restaurant, featuring a Burger Of The Day, Lobster Rolls, Fried Seafood, Hard and Soft Serve Ice Cream, and a Kids Menu and a Playground! You can also find an assortment of Pepsi and Coke products.
You will not find many better fish (haddock) sandwiches anywhere along the coast, same with the lobster and crab rolls. Everything fresh and the kitchen knows just what to do. Wonderful take-out service, yes you Ashley, and with Theresa and Lori in the kitchen we cannot recommend this place enough. Used to be all over, but now sadly replaced by fast food chains. For non seafood I like the Gobbler wrap- Thanksgiving rolled up in delicious bites.
I love the greek salad here. The dressing is house and an old recipe from the chef. Great little menu with great local people at this really awesome golf course. Be sure to check it out. If you like golfing on vacation then you will love this place.

This building has been without a restaurant for a couple years. Great to find the new owner and staff. We had a pasta seafood special and crab cakes. Excellent preparation, and good cocktails. Interesting menu all around. Attentive staff and nice ambiance. We will return every year.

The pleasure of walking up to a window and getting a dish of ice cream never disappoints, so this place already had it all going on when we stepped up to the window, but the flavor selection really made it special. We stopped here twice, and I had the Deer Tracks flavor (lots of mix-ins) the first time and Black Bear (with Maine blueberries) the second. Both were immensely satisfying. You won't go wrong with this little stand.

Stonecutters Kitchen has been est in 2017 and is located at the back of Harbor View Store with a very large dining area overlooking Stonington's Beautiful Harbor and Commercial Fishing Pier. We are in the former Fisherman's Friend Location and we are the
We drove from Bar Harbor to Stonington to visit this quaint fishing seaport. Since it was near lunchtime we decided to eat at the Stonington Kitchen. We entered through the grocery store but you can also enter from the rear outside dining area. You place your order at the order counter and they give you a number. You go pick your seat. We chose to sit outside on the deck overlooking the seaport. We ordered Clam Chowder which was delicious and the colossal lobster roll. It was huge and chuck full of yummy Lobstah. After eating you go inside and pay at the kiosk. Good food fast service is what you can expect here. You will be rewarded with a great view as well.

Charming little eatery in the town that thrives on fishing and lobstering. The food you eat was recently harvested. We had the haddock chowder...delicious and loaded with fish, and the haddock sandwich...a full filet on a bun. Both were excellent and modestly priced. Great view of the harbor from some tables. Service is good and the place is nice inside.
