This was like stepping back in time and having dinner at the local community center where everyone pitched in and helped with the meal. The service was terrific!! Everyone was very helpful, attentive and all were in great spirits! The food was very good and the entertainment was fun. This is a wonderful evening for dinner out with friends in a friendly and warm atmosphere! We are definitely going back!

Last week we took a drive leaving Grand Junction, going to Vega Lake State Park. After we drove on to the Grand Mesa and stopped for an early dinner at Mesa Lakes Lodge. The Lodge is well decorated with antiques and mounts. Log cabin feel to it. Our table over looked one of the lakes and the view was great. We both had the Angus burger, plate. Came with all the trimmings and french fries. It was good but nothing great. The price was a little steep(12.99) but the view and peace and quite made up for eat. Would like to try breakfast there some time.
We had breakfast here, and the food was okay. The atmosphere was awful - old, depressing, dated place to eat, but service was friendly and efficient.
Bun by a good ol boy. Good pizza and service. Decent prices. Not sure about delivery as we ate lunch there. We would go back again.

Stopping at the Aspen Trails Campground they have a small restaurant and great Ice cream cones with handmade waffle cones...They just recently upgraded their kitchen and have a small but delicious menu to choose from...on a nice day out on the deck with a view of the San Juan Range in the distance...definitely will stop again.

We were camping on the Grand Mesa and stopped in here to have a meal other then camp food. The lodge was very nice and clean. The waitress we had was okay but she seemed a little bit like she wasn't into her job. The food was good though and it was served nice and warm. I am not sure if I would eat there again but there is a gift shop right next door that was very warm and welcoming. We learned a lot about the fishing in that area from the man who owned the gift shop. He also made and sold his handmade flies for fishing. The prices in the gift shop were very reasonable.

We went for Mother's Day, my kids thought it would be a treat, they were happy to take mom out. What a shock, when the food came the meal was sub par, fish was over cooked, and the rest was not all it cracked up to be. But the bill, for 4 adults and 3 children under the age of 5, was $184.00, outrageous. My husband tried to help with the cost, but they went ahead and paid for it. We will never return, because we have been to expensive places before, but I believe we were robbed. The service was really great, but the food was not worth that price.

We came for lunch, the hubby had the steak sandwich and I had the blt croissant both with a side salad with the yummy raspberry vinaigrette. The Philly steak sandwich was good, but the hubby was disappointed with its size. Especially after seeing and tasting my fabulous sandwich. And we both really enjoyed our side salad. Normally I have to either skip the salad or pick the spinach out because I'm so allergic, but I was pleasantly surprised with lots of mixed greens that did not include spinach. Our waitress was delightful, and was able to give several suggestions. The restaurant was very clean. Only real complaint was the booth seats are pretty much shot. We noticed everyone struggling to get up out of the booth seating. Which is a shame because most people prefer a booth. And anyone with a bad back, hips or knees would really struggle with this. Some extra new stuffing to firm up the seats and this would have been a 5 star rating. Food was delicious and tea was good and fresh! My relatives were disappointed to not see the trout on the menu any more though. Thanks so much for the nice review - we will definitely have a look at the booths and see what can be done. I appreciate your input - I don't often sit in the booths :)

Visited our daughter who lives in Cedaredge and actually liked the dinner her so well we went back for breakfast the next day. Portion sizes are nice but the best deal was the senior breakfast! Excellent biscuits and gravy, amazing cheese omelet! You should try them if youâre in the area.
