What a great breakfast we had at Rose Garden. Most breakfast places use a ton of grease but not Rose Garden. The food quality is excellent and cooked to perfection. This restaurant has operated over many years under various ownership and we are hopeful that the owners this time will be hugely successful . They will if they continue with the great food and service. The staff is very attentive and friendly and your coffee cup stays full at all times. We are going back for sure and will try lunch there, too. You will enjoy a great breakfast for very fair prices.
Greeted warmly upon entrance. Sandwich makers followed protocol with gloves. Shop offers mini-pizzas. Some Subways do not. Nice visit.

My wife and I had been driving forever and hadn't seen any real restaurants along the way. We found this little place on our map and decided to give it a try. From the outside it looks just average. But once your inside the people, food and price is awesome. We both left with very full bellies and good conversation with our waitress. The price was worth the food. Wasn't expensive by no means. Definitely suggest if your on your way by.

Come on in, seat yourself and get ready to enjoy some really good seafood in a very casual setting. Food comes out a little slow but it's fresh cooked and hot. Waitresses are like your favorite Aunt. Locals know this place is special so you need to get there a bit early. CASH ONLY and closed on Tuesdays! Bathroom are out back....but not an out house! Attached to the building and extremely clean!

Enjoyed a delicious casual lunch after a delightful sight seeing cruise on the St John River with Bob. Two of us had The Rubin, with fried mahi-mahi another had a grilled grouper sandwich and the 4th had the grilled shrimp & crab sandwich on rye. All excellent. If in this area again we would definitely return.

I have been eating at Blackwater Inn for 40 years. I have always had a great experience. My favorite dish is the fried shrimp. The shrimp are butterflied and absolutely delicious. The cocktails are wonderful and not what I consider expensive. The service is usually very good and the servers are always friendly. I love the view and often ask to sit at a table by the window to get the best view of the St. Johns River. However, all views are good. This restaurant is definitley one of my favorites.

"Just a few paw prints west of the St. John's River" Our goal is that our friends, neighbors, and those just passing through feel the warmth of our hospitality with our exceptional food, service and atmosphere.
We stop here for breakfast every time we drive across Florida. It's actually something we look forward to. Friendly, clean, good food, good coffee, reasonable prices, and you get to look at the artwork on the walls. It's for sale, not that we bought any. Can't go wrong.
