Set in the beautiful Northumberland countryside this adventure filled day out in the North East has all the wind-in-your-face-zip-wires you could ever need. Our high ropes course will not disappoint with a range of obstacles designed to bamboozle the adventurous and inspire rookie risk-takers.
Fab few hours with my 10 year old son here. The instructor (Hannah) was great, good balance of humour whilst still making sure we all new what we were doing. And she was so supportive when my son had a little ‘wobble’ early on. After he got through the first Tarzan slide, he loved the rest of it, particularly the zip lines! I thought the 2nd Tarzan slide on stage 5 was awesome, but not for the feint-hearted. Great fun, great place, good exercise, highly recommended. I will be taking my work colleagues here for a corporate day in the future!

We had an incredible day out. The staff were so happy and went out if their way to make sure we had a brilliant day out. They picked up on our kids names and guided them through activities with confidence and positive encouragement. I couldn’t rate DL Durham more highly. Thank you

In 1991, The Woodhorn Museum (Wansbeck Council) was given an ex mining locomotive and three man-riding cars by the NCB, following the closure of Vane Tempest Colliery near Durham. It was decided rather than allow these vehicles to become a static exhibition, it would serve the heritage of the community better if they were made operational and become a visitor attraction. A volunteer group was formed to manage and build a railway on which the vehicles could operate.

Kids had great fun on park then we went in the maze at £2 per person was fantastic fun for both kids and adults plus a treasure map which you had to collect stamps on way through maze to get the treasure at the end chocolate coins. Great day out see you soon .

Visited Prudhoe Waterworld a few days ago with a 14 year old and a 10 year old. It was at a time when the slide and the waves were operating and they both loved it. The surroundings are very clean and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I sat in the very pleasant café where I was able to the fun going on. It is priced reasonably as well so it was a great day out. The kids stayed in more than an hour so they obviously enjoyed it.
