Vissionar is Carlos and Carlos is the real deal. Sure on the surface, he's a cool guy with great stories, but in reality, he's so much more than that. Arriving in Peru, you will likely experience culture shock and/or altitude sickness. When that happens, you want someone like Carlos helping you through these challenges, he's very supportive. But challenges aside, you'll have fun, I went for lunch and coffee with Carlos and he's great company. I am happy to recommend Carlos and Vissionar to anyone who wants a fun, authentic experience during your time in Peru.

My husband and I returned shortly from our trip to Cusco and were well taken care of. Luis our point person reminded us daily about our itinerary and touched base with us after our tours ended. Every day we had different tour guides, but they were all very patient, knowledgeable and polite (Fabricio to Sacred Valley, Ceasar to Maras and Moray and Eder to Machu Picchu). I thought the price was amazing considering that it covered transportation and lodging. If purchased separately we'd end up spending slightly more. The hotel in Cusco was nice and a short walk to the town center. The hotel in Aguas Caliente was very nice but our room was the size of a closet! Overall, we enjoyed our time. Luis left us with a very thoughtful gift before we departed (a doll I was looking for). I definitely recommend Andean View Travel especially for those who want a thoroughly planned trip. This package did not leave much room for self exploration, perhaps you can add a day or two before or after if that's what you'd like.

Ausangate is the towering, 6372m peak which dominates the skyline to the southeast of Cusco. It is the protector spirit mountain of the city and ranks highest in the pantheon of Apus, the living Mountain Gods worshipped by the people of the Peruvian Andes. As you trek around its snowy slopes, you will climb high mountain passes and visit remote Andean villages. The turquoise lakes and hot springs of this land are a generous gift from Pachamama, the Mother Earth. Start your tour in Tipon, an incredible archaeological site just 27 kilometres from Cusco. This place was dedicated to the water worship and is considered a masterpiece of hydraulic engineering, because of the impressive work carried out in the construction of the irrigation system. The water maintains the crops of the twelve cultivated terraces around and the canals that still provide water to local populations. Continue your visit in Oropesa, a small town famous for the bread they produce and that has earned it the name of the ‘National Capital of Bread’. Truly recommend this trip to everyone who is fed up with the modern consumption world. A magic spiritual place, very well organised tour from the very first minute, starts from picking up from your hotel, till last one. The guide who accompanied us - MARCO, was very helpful, incredibly knowledgeable and prepared to answer every single question we had, regarding not only Maccu Picchu but also about Peru history, traditions and culture. This add a lot of additional value to our trip. About the place and the feelings that it brought is difficult to write, they need to be experienced individually.
The guides are professional and accredited. The tour is new and you will know little known places of Cusco. The tour is done by bicycle, a vehicle that does not generate a footprint in the environment and allows you to enjoy the landscape.
