In my personal opinion the Judean desert is most facinating for all types of different reasons. The beginning of the 3 big religions, the deeper valley in the world, the dead sea, lots of history, oasis, bedouins, camels… and it all fits into 4-5 hours tour. lots of it in jumpy desert roads. I invite you to join me and see for your self.

this is an initiative inviting you on a journey to one of the most wonderful landscapes of Palestine, Aboud. The Palestinian village of Aboud is located 30 km northwest of Ramallah, sitting 450 meters above sea level. also known as the “City of Flowers.” The village has a beautiful mountainous landscape cultivated with olive trees. Rich in natural resources as well as historical treasures. The village's main economy relies on olive, olive oil. most of the people in the village travel to Ramallah daily to work in the governmental sections as well as private ones, with very low salaries plus the expenses of daily transportation, they have changed throughout the years from farmers to employees, because the village has been shut down from many entrances to it, as it used to be a trade road in the past, considered to be part of the Jesus Trail, the village hosts great religious importance, capturing its name ABOUD from the many places of worship.

This tour takes you back to the beginning of the Human Civilization – to Jericho, the first city in the History. You will see the Tower built over 10,000 years ago. We shall further take a Cable Car, which will bring us to the Monastery of Temptation. This monastery, built at the top of the steep mount, is considered one of the miracles of the Holy Land. We shall visit the Qasr Al Yahud, the Baptism site at the Jordan River. Qasr Al Yahud is believed to be the place where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist This exclusively beautiful site, at the border between Israel and Jordan, is surrounded by the new and ancient monasteries and creates a strong feeling of Mystery. We shall stop at Deir Hajla Monastery. Initially built in the V CAD, the monastery was further destroyed by the invading Persian Army., and it still keeps the sculls of the monks executed by the invaders. Finally, if the time permits, we shall make a detour to see Wadi Qelt deepest gorge, famous for its beauty.
