Turriff (from Scottish Gaelic Torraibh, meaning 'place of round hills') is a town and civil parish in Aberdeenshire in Scotland. It lies on the River Deveron, about 166 feet (51 m) above sea level, and has a population of 5,708. In everyday speech it is often referred to by its Scots name, Turra, which is derived from the Scottish Gaelic pronunciation.

Stayed in the castle in one of the suites for 7 days it was the most relaxing week i and my family had we were self catering the place was spotless and had everything that we needed thanks to Joan would recommend this place so quite and away from everyone cant wait to go back again loved it
