The David Hall is known as ‘the small hall with the BIG reputation’ for live performance in Somerset. We are a friendly arts centre in the rural location of South Petherton, just off the A303 near Yeovil. We programme the best in Folk, Roots, Blues and Acoustic music as well as Film, Dance, Theatre and Community events.
This is an excellent venue for folk music, so friendly and intimate. The artists they attract are great and many come back time and time again, Looking forward to seeing Martin Joseph next week and St Agnes Fountain ( for the 4th time) in DEcember!

East Lambrook Manor Gardens is a privately owned English Heritage Grade 1 listed garden and an RHS partner garden. It is a cottage-style garden originally created by the iconic plantswoman Margery Fish who wrote books and magazine articles about her garden in the mid 20th century . After her death in 1969. It has been lovingly maintained and developed by her family and then a few successive owners. Current owners Michael and Gail Werkmeister have been restoring and maintaining the gardens since 2008. athe Margery Fish plant nursery, which is free to visit, has a fine collection of cottage garden plants for sale. We are now closed for the winter and will re-open on 2nd February 2021 for our 'Festival of Snowdrops'. Visited on the warmest day of 2019 so far, very pleasant entrance staff, excellently maintained gardens with several cool spots to rest beneath trees etc, detailed plan helped one navigate. Very Fair admission price. Plants for sale excellent quality and very reasonable prices, most helpful and amiable sales person. Superb Art exhibition in Malthouse and out building by Israeli Artist Moish Slkal, who was on the premises so made viewing even more heightened - wonderful array of themes and subjects from so many countries (and England his second homeland) around the world. Very talented artist of many years repute. Word of warning for less abled visitors, some of the paths are narrow and uneven stonework which could be slippery in wet/damp weather.
