This fortress is enormous!! You could spend the whole day wandering about .. part of it is by guided tour (in French only) and the guide was extremely knowledgeable and interesting - it was easy enough to follow. What a place! Amazing to learn about military tactics. An excellent day out

The Domaine's history merges with the Besombes Singla family saga, an old family that moved to Rivesaltes under Louis XIV. The estate's foundation and history since 1760 is documented. The Domaine is based on the selection of 50 hectares of the best land parcels and grapevarieties of three "terroirs". Damien Besombes Singla has converted a portion of the vineyard into organic production.
