Vins d'Alsace Mosbach

Reviewed By MissCellanies - Leamington Spa, United Kingdom

We took a picnic lunch and followed the Sentier Viticole path up from the Mairie into the vineyards. We stopped and had lunch by the chapel among the vines. After our walk among the Mosbach vines we headed to the Cave in town to taste some of the family's wines. Christophe was so welcoming and we learnt a lot about Alsace wines. The Domaine's wines are fabulous. I was worried that our two young children would be bored, but Christophe was so kind and thoughtful with our 5-year old daughter. Luckily our 22-month old slept through the whole thing (we chose to visit around nap time on purpose). A wonderful introduction to buying wines at the vineyard for my husband and an unforgettable day for us all. Many thanks, Christophe!

Vins Fend

On a farm of 7 hectares we work for generations to produce the full range of Alsatian grape varieties. Working our land with passion and respect for nature, we raise our wines in a traditional way for your pleasure. The grape varieties proposed by our domain, cover all the wines of Alsace. Unlike common use, it is not the terroir that gives its name to the wines of Alsace, but the grapes themselves. Always presented in their slender bottle, our wines are bottled on the property.
