Liberty is a home rule-class city in Casey County, Kentucky, in the United States. It is the seat of its county. Its population was 2,168 at the 2010 U.S. census.

We welcome out of town individuals of all ages. Our course features 9 holes with Bermuda grass fairways as well as a 125.000 gallon swimming pool. Play and round of golf and then relax by the pool right here in Liberty.
Gateway Park offers a large playground for children as well as areas to play baseball, softball, and tennis. There's plenty of room to roam and runs parallel to Green River. Gateway Park has intramural sports programs for children. A nice covered shelter is available and the community center is also available for large family gatherings and events.
May-October; Thursdays 4-7 pm, Downtown Liberty New to downtown Liberty for the 2018 growing season. Shop each Thursday from 4-7 pm from local vendors. In-season produce as well as locally produced jams, jellies, baked goods as well as fresh eggs. Vendor forms are available by calling Meagan Klee at the Casey County Extension Office
Lake Liberty is a wonderful place to go canoe, kayak, and fish. Trails around the lake are excellent places to view native wildlife. Since combustion propelled watercraft and swimming is not allowed, Lake Liberty is a peaceful place to get away from it all and reconnect with nature. It is open to the public from 6 AM – midnight 7 days a week. Fishing is welcome, must have a valid fishing license.
