Established in 1997. Settled atop a hill and encompassed within lush vineyards, Bel Lago Winery's tasting room features a one-of-a-kind panoramic view of south Lake Leelanau. Grown with a deep respect for and devotion to Leelanau Peninsula, our wines reflect the soil and climate of our beautiful location. For nearly two decades, our emphasis at Bel Lago has been on producing quality wines and cider with an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Enjoyed trying a few of their wines and ciders! The inside of the winery is being renovated so all seating is outside which is good so you can see the great view of Lake Leelanau.

My wife and I visited Traverse City last weekend and played golf at Manitou Passage, one of our new favorites in Michigan! The course was perfect for a crisp fall day with colors that were just peaking. The course is set through rolling hills and tree lined fairways not far from Sleeping Bear Dunes. The people there were very friendly, and the fall rates were very reasonable. The course was setup well for beginner to intermediate golfers with five sets of tee boxes. We can't wait to go back!
Grand Traverse Sporting provides unique and unforgettable sporting clays adventures in beautiful Leelanau County, Michigan. Located just north of Traverse City on over 200 acres of private shooting preserve, we provide fully customized clay shooting experiences such as simulated English driven, wingshooting or mini-clays courses from our ridgelines, valleys and meadows. Catered lunch available.
Located minutes away from Lake Leelanau on scenic French Valley Rd, French Valley Vineyard is nestled back from the road on 80 sprawling acres. Home to vineyards, a cherry orchard and picturesque fields, our fully restored Amish-built event barn and tasting room are a destination you won't want to miss!
