Trail maps available. Bathrooms (depending on what lot, very nice ones) available. Lots of dogs so it is imperative that you keep your dog on a leash. We saw both a deer and a garter snake so watch your step so you don't accidentally smush any slithering creatures.

Being an old-timer, I miss the old bridge but I can't complain about the new one. Each time I cross over it from the west, I anticipate the view. As you cross over, suddenly you see the vastness of the Atlantic Ocean right in front of you. Look to the left and the thin stretch of sand called Sandy Hook comes into view. Look to the right and the Shewsbury River and Sea Bright unfold. Come to thing of it, that's a lot of looking around. If you are the driver, please just look ahead. There will be plenty of time to soak in the views once you are over the bridge.

Came to New York from Monterey, CA during Phase I Covid-19. The region was just opening and made the decision to stay in Central New Jersey using the Seastreak Ferry to NYC. All because I met a handsome gentleman [super hot] from NJ a couple years back who mentioned commuting by ferry! It turned out to be awesome! Seastreak was operating on a limited schedule, thus I understand the lines would be longer and most riders have monthly tickets, but it operated timely and efficient. The staff was friendly and professional. Everything was clean from the terminal building to the ferry. Loved sitting on the third level taking in the views, snapping pictures, and letting the wind swirl around me! Enjoyed the first and second levels closed seating w TV and bar. The only way to see NYC’s skyline and the Statue of Liberty. Planning my next trip and will call ahead to ensure I have tickets in advance!
