We stopped in the Slate Town Brewing Co while taking a ride from Rutland, VT. The four of us shared two flights of four samples each. Our favorites were the Peanut Butter Stout and the English Brown Ale. The bar tender was super friendly and gave us a bit of information about this young, just about one year old brewery. She mentioned they’re working on maybe having a kitchen soon. So word of mouth will help them grow. This is a fun stop if you’re in the area.

My kids and grandkids and my husband and I went Apple picking at the orchard in October 2019 and it was great. We got some delicious apples and had lots of fun. After that their was a hay ride and a petting zoo. they have a store that u can buy just about anything Apple. I bought a jar of Vidalia Onion Relish!! OMG! It’s the most delicious relish. I wish I had bought a gallon! It’s great on hot dogs, hamburgers even a sausage sandwich! Can’t wait till we can go again!! TN/NY
