Really enjoy their first Christmas show of the season. The music was very upbeat and some comedy too. The performers were very talented and enjoyed what they were doing making it even more fun. Never got the impression that they were just going thru the steps and music just to get it over with. The ending is simply beautiful. Highly recommend.

Maggie's Jungle Golf & Jungle Run

Reviewed By FJDriver - Essex, Vermont

Were looking for something to do on a hot summer afternoon, and chose to go to Maggie's Jungle Golf. Had a wonderful afternoon playing miniature golf. What made this a real treat was being in the cool shade on a hot day. A well-maintained facility, and one where the whole family can enjoy some time together for a very reasonable price. You won't be disappointed.

So many things to look at! Loved the mix of merchandise. Very cute store. We spent about 30 minutes there and bought a rug for the camper. They have everything from clothes and jewelry to home items and decor. I really enjoyed this place. You've got to stop in when in Grand Rivers.

Twin Lakes Antique Mall

Easy to find, park, and get around inside. One of the best laid out antique malls we have seen. It's very clean and organized, with spotless restrooms. The prices are reasonable. The employees are helpful and generally know the inventory of their vendors. Allow at least 90 minutes to look at all the booths if it is your first time.

Kentucky Shores Family Fun Center

First of all, as you enter, they promise a treetop experience, and it is in no way, shape, manner, or form a treetop experience. Secondly, the zip lines are in dire need of being reconfigured in several areas. On at least 4 of their lines, there is a chance that you will not make it to the other end and may get stranded due to the lines not being taut enough. It happened to several members of my group, including myself. The staff knows this, and one staff member said that its been a problem for quite a while. I have zip lined numerous times, and when one staff member suggested it was the wind blowing the wrong direction that causes the problem, I could not hold back my laughter. The wind blowing in a certain direction will not affect a properly laid zip line. I have no idea who I would recommend do the zip lines at this facility because a beginner is not going to get an experience that will keep them wanting to zip line in the future, and an experienced zip liner will be completely bored. All in all, a very disappointing experience.

Kentucky Dam

Reviewed By David G - Kerrville, Texas

... an electric power engineer. The generators went in service about 70 years ago, and have been upgraded at least once, along with what appear to be newer generator step-up transformers. TVA still has what looks like the original bulk-oil 161 kV circuit breakers in service in the switchyard, but the adjacent lower voltage yard has some more modern equipment. The walk across the length of the dam is a pleasant way to break up a long drive. The husband-and-wife team of volunteer hosts at the Visitor Center were quite knowledgeable of much of TVA's history.
