I purchased tickets for immediate family. My parents, especially my mom is handicapped and uses a walker. We were immediately greeted by a very nice woman as we entered who informed us that it would be about 20 minutes before they started scanning tickets, would we like a chair for my mom? By the time we went through the doors, she had a chair there waiting for us. As lines formed for ticket processing, we were ushered to the front to get our tickets scanned so she wouldn’t have to stand. To get to our seats in the first row of the upper section she had to climb six stairs. When we got to our seats, a very friendly usher named Sandy came up and took the walker and placed it in a safe place. She was so very nice and attentive. When she saw mom start to get up she was right there with her walker. A great show, with exceptional and kind treatment from the theater staff. You made our evening!

We came to AMC Rosemont 18 to see the 80th Anniversary showing of "Wizard of Oz" with my 4 yr. old granddaughter. There was one person in the ticket office, but though the ticketing was slow, i have to put the slow pace on the customer in front of me. I could not believe how long that she took to pick out a seat on the auditorium screen. I think, sometimes, we mistakenly blame the staff for slow service. Anyway, the staff was efficient. It appears that they are renovating the auditoriums on the east end of the theatre, as the corridor was blocked off. We were in Auditorium #3, and we found seats that were power reclining, and those swing-out tables with a small folding armrest between every two seats. I guess those are good for cuddlers. The movie was in the Dolby auditorium, so the sound was great (but, loud) and the color was fantastic. Part of the concession stand is also closed for the renovations, but it really didn't effect us. There are the usual AMC Coca-Cola Freestyle self-dispensing fountains for those 100+ soft drinks. There are also several butter machines next to those soft drink machines, where you can dispense all the butter that you can handle on your popcorn. The parking is across the street in a multi-level parking structure with color-coded floors, elevators and validated free parking. The movie was sharp and clear and it was way better than just seeing it once a year when it comes up around Thanksgiving. Remember to bring the parking ticket in to the theatre with you to validate the ticket, as you leave.
