Lovely walk to the glacier, and along the path you have signs letting you know how the glacier has changed over the years. Highly recommend! The food in the restaurant by the train is very good aswell!

already open for skiing on the weekend and Wednesday afternoon. As well without skiing a cool peak to enjoy the view on the glacier and get something to eat and drink. A great place to start early into the ski season:)

Excellent hike in immediate proximity of Pontresina. Well-maintained trails and wonderful scenery. Perfect warm-up on the way to the Tschierva alpine hut or beyond, to the Bianca ridge and Piz Bernina.

Absolutely worth the visit here! You get real insight into the people and industrieds surrounding Pontresina over the last few centuries. Cool mountain climbing artifacts, pictures, and films document this. The museum is a very old building showing how life was a few hundred years ago. Interesting as well for all aged-children.
