We had so much fun at the Stubai Glacier that we visited twice in the same week! The last station all the way up has breathtaking views. If you want to play in tons of snow (even in August!), get off at the second station where the Mammoth slide is - right behind it there is tons of snow - you can walk in snow from the 2nd cable car station all the way to the peak if you really wanted to. There is also a very nice ice cave in the second station :-) This was one of the best places that I ever visited!

This trail begins at the drainage from the Stubaital Glacier and follows the rushing waters downhill. One highlight is the Grawa waterfall that you pass after one hour of hiking. We encountered cows and goats on the trail, which added to the experience. There are strategically placed eating places along the way in case you need refreshment. It is a friendly trail that is suitable for all.

This was my second trip to the Stubaier glacier for a long ski weekend. It’s brilliant for a weekend away as the snow conditions are guaranteed and the distance from Innsbruck airport is perfect. I look forward to visiting again in the future

Beautiful waterfall which can easily be accessed with a walk of 5 minutes. From the terrace of the Grawa alm (accessible by car if you follow the road to the glacier), you have a perfect view on the waterfall. At the waterfall itself there is also a platform where you can sit/relax. You can combine the visit with the Wilde wasser weg trail.

Two amazing toboggan runs accessed by lift. One 8km long, yes 8!, the other about 5. Toboggans for rent at the lift station and kids go free. What’s not to like! The longer run has a half hour walk back to the lift at the end. The other just comes out at the bottom station. Also faster and with more corners. If you are in the area this is absolutely to be recommended as one of the most fun things you can do. Kids loved it too. Fast and fun. Make sure you go with solid shoes and something to stop the snow going up your trousers!!
