The M. CHAPOUTIER's cellar offers tastings, vineyard tours, introductory tasting workshops, bike rides to explore the vineyard. Led by our sommeliers, they will help you discover the values and soul of the Maison. The shop of the cellar invites you to extend the experience: great wines, rare vintages, spirits and gift boxes.
My wife and I are big fans of Chapoutier wines and our love from them even increased after our visit. We were treated to tastes of all the very fine wines, Saint-Peray, St. Joseph, Condrieu, Crozes Hermitage, Cote Rotie, Cornas, and Hermitage. We were even given a taste of the exquisite 2010 le Meal Hermitage (which blew our minds). We purchased some fines and left better informed and quite happy.

"La Cité du Chocolat" : a discovering corner about chocolate (in October 2013), a pastry school for gourmets and an amazing chocolate shop."La Cité du Chocolat" is an amazing experience around the chocolate and the cocoa. On 2000m² the visitor could look at,touch, smell and, of course taste, the Valrhona chocolate and discover its secrets. At the end of the visit, visitors could find more than 100 different kinds of chocolate in a shop of 200m². If the visitor wants, he could learn chocolate and pastry recipes in the School of "la Cité du Chocolat Valrhona"
We had a short jaunt from our river cruise to this wonderful shop. Unlike Hershey, you won't be overrun by tourists. This is a small village and the shop has many types of chocolate for sale, each under a large tub of fee samples. Each one is a 4mm thick biscuit of joy. When you complete your purchase they throw in many free samples and you'll wonder why you didn't bring an extra suitcase for candy.

Located between Valence and Lyon, Cave de Tain lies at the foot of the Hermitage hillside. At the heart of the historic northern Rhône vineyards, the Cave produces and markets 5 “cru” wines and single varietal Vins de Pays from over 1000 hectares of vines (appellations Hermitage, Crozes Hermitage, Saint Joseph, Cornas and Saint Peray), making it the leading producer of “cru” wines in the northern Rhône Valley.
After the complete visit with guide, it is really great to check all the wine options in the shop, which currently it is opened 7 days a week for 7 hours.
