The National White Water Centre is dedicated to providing the best white water experiences on offer in the UK, a world class whitewater venue available to all paddle sport enthusiasts and to help Canoe Wales develop canoeing and kayaking throughout Wales. Our aim is for everyone to enjoy the river as much as we do; whether it’s through our white water rafting sessions, providing a great place to kayak and canoe throughout the year, or by helping people take their first steps into paddlesport through our support of Canoe Wales.

Booked a 2 hour painting session for 3 of us via Facebook. Choose our own pieces to paint from a well stocked range so you make the day as cheap or expense as you like. There are also many painted items around to help you with some inspiration. Owners are extremely welcoming and very helpful and gave loads of hints and tips. We had never done this before and loved it. Even if it's at the end of your stay, you can have your piece(s) posted to you once is been fired. Cannot wait for ours to arrive in the post.

Rheilffordd Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake Railway) offers a delightful 9 mile return journey alongside Bala Lake, through the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Our 2ft narrow gauge steam trains give excellent views of the lake amid its surrounding pastoral and woodland scenery, and of the nearby mountains, Arenig Fawr, Aran Benllyn and Aran Fawddwy. The railway provides an ideal centrepiece for a day’s visit to Bala Lake. The round trip of 1 hour can be broken at any of the stations to enjoy other activities - a pleasant 10 minutes walk into Bala town for shopping or merely browsing. There is access to the lake shore at Llangower station for swimming, fishing or simply lazing by the waterside.

Welsh Drink Specialist. We have one of the widest range of welsh drinks, including beers, ciders, wines and spirits - and many of them are on taste. Come and sample a few if you are taking out (we sell draft beer by the litre) or stay a while and and enjoy a quiet 2/3rd of a pint or local G&T in our tap room. Oh and we also do locally roasted coffee :-)
