At the Tanapa Thai Restaurant it is our wish that you will enjoy your dining experience with us as much as we enjoy preparing it for you. Our Head Chef Thawanrat Thitivimutkun (Nop to her friends) received her training at the world famous Oriental Hotel i
I visited this basic Thai restaurant during the week. Meals were ok but the Pad Thai could have had some more chicken and they could increase their stocks of the local Coopers brew as they ran out of sparkling ale and then the pale ale...this was at 630pm. This place seemed to specialise in home deliveries as there was lots being picked up. The table service was very good, in contrast to paying the bill at the till.

We were walk-ins, and despite it being a Saturday night, we got a table immediately as the restaurant was rather empty. Though a little bit dated, the tables had nicely starched white table cloths and everything looked clean. Service was polite but a tad slow. The menu offered the standard Malaysian-Asian fare and we ordered familiar dishes of a fried noodle dish, a meat curry and pan fried pork. I was rather surprised at how small and mean the portions were. For example, looking for the meat and veg in the fried noodles was like hunting for needles in a haystack. Taste-wise, it was rather forgettable. As we ate, we noticed an almost non-stop stream of Uber Eats deliverers trooping in then out again with brown paper bags for in-home diners. The restaurant may want to consider directing Uber Eats to pick up orders from the back rather than ruining the ambience for diners and lowering the tone to that of a cheap eats diner.
An Asian Fusion restaurant that serves a variety of Chinese, Thai, Malaysian and Vietnamese dishes where the guests can choose to relax and enjoy their meals in the alfresco area with either ocean or yacht landing views. The restaurant is spacious, family
What a wonderful find. Sat outside and watched sunset. Ordered fresh coffin bay oysters which were so amazingly fresh and great value and was suggested a beautiful bottle of Clare Valley Riesling which was amazing. Had peking duck pancakes, seafood fried rice, salt and pepper squid, pepper beef, and kung pao chicken for mains for a party of 4. The food was amazing, service exceptional and great atmosphere. Highly recommend this restaurant with amazing staff.

A friend and I decided to catch up in Glenelg for lunch.I chose Indochine as I felt like noodles:The fried chicken wings as entre were good piping hot and freshly cooked.Friend ordered seafood Laksa which was a sweet tomatoe broth with a few bits of prawns and seafood. It did have a little coconut milk /cream but was a sad substitute for an authentic Laksa.I ordered Char Kwai Tau normally a dish of Wok fried flat noodles with Chinese sausage , green vegetable, spring onion egg and chilli.I was served what appeared to be mushy heinz canned noodles in a tomatoe sauce!I took one bite and sent the dish back as inedibleThey asked if I wanted something else? I should have had something else as the second plate was the same sad tomatoe sauce the noodles just as mushy. No one asked why we left our food. I paid reluctantly and advise to eat anywhere in Glenelg but not here BAD FOOD IS ALWAYS TOO EXPENSIVE!

We hope to service you again next time you visit Glenelg.Have a nice day.Coco House Cafe

We chose after reading tripadvisor. Struggled to find it.We sat down after peak time on a saturday evening. Service was pleasant and environment OK. But we were both disappointed with meal. I suspect some short cuts are happening. Would not return.

Went there off the cuff on a Saturday night. The place was buzzing and after a lengthy wait we were eventually seated. This seemed to be the order of the night, lengthy waits and poor service. The food was the winner of the night, tasty dishes but not sure the Phuket is worth it.

We booked the back room out for a family birthday dinner for 23 people and had a wonderful night. The room was cosy with candles on the tables and all requests were met with ease. We pre-ordered entrees which came out at exactly the right time with our guests then ordering their own main course. BYO is very reasonable and allows for some independence when it comes to serving wine. The salt and pepper squid is delish, always tender and tasty. The chicken satays are really good as they use chicken thigh and make their own gluten free peanut sauce. In fact everything is gluten free except for the spring rolls and curry puffs, as you would expect.Great food and warm, friendly service where nothing is too much trouble. Thanks Sabai for a fantastic night.Thank you for you very kind review!Your group was very easy to manage and that made our service so much easier. We enjoyed the night just as much as you did! :)Kindest regardsSabai :)
