Experience What All The Talk Is About
Went there with friends on Thursday evening ...the atmosphere was lovely... we were inside but outside on a nice evening would have been very nice too. we had a variety of appetizers including the signature bacon on the line, along with lobster dumplings, roasted cauliflower and fish tacos. all were excellent altho the bacon was to die for, as were the lobster dumplings. I really liked the fish tacos as well... even if the waitress forgot to bring us the lemon on the side after making a big deal about it.... The entrees:.. one salmon.. on the menu... very good, 2 of the special grouper which was supposedly encrusted with banana chips but their definition of encrusted is definitely different from mine... more like a few banana chips on top.. it was very good... From the menu - scallops and the branzino... all very good... we did not have dessert... As we were driving away we were saying that it didn't cost as much as we had expected... it wasn't til the next day that I realized we did not have coffee or dessert... also one of us did not drink... it came to 88$ per person with the tip... the waitress was ok but not really there at times when we were looking for her.... so it was a nice place... but given the prices I doubt I would go back unless it was another group thing.. Finally concerning the complaints about the excessive amount for valet service and having to prepay... it was only 5$ plus tip so I think it was ok... we could have parked in the parking garage if we wanted to but it was worth paying for the valet... not sure if they change the amount depending on the night... we went on a Thursday...
I live in PA and have tried several Sushi places which have been recommended from friends, but I was disappointed. I was so looking forward to a new Sushi place that had also opened in the area and easy to get to, but NOT GOOD! Visiting Fort Lee and eating at Hachi Sushi has spoiled me rotten bc I just have not been able to find anything as delicious as what they serve. Appetizers and rolls are out of this world! Even the Sushi place at the Borgata fails in comparison to what this small, intimate and adorablely decorated place has. As stated... You will not be disappointed!

I will agree with the majority of people....PJ Sushi is great!! Nothing can beat their salmon or miso soup. They have excellent prices and although you eat with plastic utensils...it doesn't matter. Food is very, very, fresh and good and the place is clean. If you want to have great sushi at a great price...go to PJ's...and order the special lunch...unbelievable price...hate to use the word cheap, but that is exactly what it is... p.s. I always get the salmon sashimi. can't be beat at any price.

We ordered the steak with garlic chips and it was absolutely delicious, I definitely recommend it. Also the seafood spicy food, it was actually quite spicy but we enjoy spicy food, so it was great. They have so manny good dishes on the menu. Also they have happy hour 5-8 pm, great prices and if you order pitcher of beer it is actually worth it, big pitcher for 10 dlls. Nice restaurant in downtown Fort Lee.

This is why I am loving any Korean restaurants. They will give you endless free side dishes. You could end up with stuffed stomach if you don't get easy on those free appetizers.Their Sashimi is always fresh. This restaurant is always crowded any evening.Call them up before you go and make sure you don't have to wait. Otherwise at least 30min to an hour waiting list.We had so many visits and never disappointed. Try and you will like it.

Authentic Japanese restaurant. The owner is the sushi chef offering "omakase" chef's special of top of the line sushi and sashimi combinations. This is the best Japanese Restaurant in northern NJ. Please list them.
One of the best sushi restaurants in the NYC area happens to be in Fort Lee, NJ. Hiura is reasonably priced (unlike the the other side of the Hudson) and very high quality without all the pretentiousness.More than half the clientele are Japanese, the other half mainly Korean. Among Asians (and others) in the know, this is definitely the place to go.

This restaurant is a cut above most. The waitresses are very nice and attentive. The quality and freshness of the fish is apparent. Sushi deluxe was imaginative in presentation. Hand rolls were very good. Tempura was light and crunchy. Appetizers of beef and gyoza was very good. Complimentary ice cream!
