The surf centre gives private and group lessons at the stunning Caswell Bay and also offers surfboard and wetsuit rental for when you chose to practice your skills on your own. Teaching surfing since 1981 and the surf school based permanently at Llangennith on the stunning Gower Peninsula. Owned and regulated by the Welsh Surfing Federation who are the governing body for surfing in Wales. Courses designed for absolute beginners and intermediates with all equipment provided. SurfGSD is the ONLY licensed surf school by The City and County Of Swansea in the area and is the only surf school allowed to run surfing lessons at Caswell Bay, near Mumbles Village.About SurfGSD:Established over a decade ago, SurfGSD is one of the premier British Surfing Association approved surf schools. Recently featured on The Gadget show when Jason Bradbury had an indoor surfing lesson with us. Then Anna Richardson of the C4 Supersize versus Superskinny took an outdoor surfing lesson with us at Caswell Bay, Swansea. We have also been in the highly acclaimed Coast magazine, Times, Guardian, Observer, Daily Mirror, and the Independant. Our moto is Surfing for Everyone!

Surfability UK is a Community Interest Company that provides surfing lessons and experiences for people with additional needs due to disability, illness, injury or learning difficulties. Our aim is to combine best practice from special education, health care, surfing and lifeguarding to make surfing as inclusive as possible. We cater to our surfers’ additional needs so they can get the most out of surfing while having a safe and really enjoyable experience. We run surfing lessons at the beautiful Caswell Bay on the Gower all year round, with some of the UK’s best beginner waves. In the winter, we also provide indoor skateboarding lessons for our surfers who find the winter sea too cold.
