Located in a big corner where the grill in view waits behind the counter at this place you'll find a warm enviroment to share with family, friends or partner and enjoy a tasty meal during the workday, in a living room with two sectors and capacity for 70

This place was very busy for lunch, and service was fast considering. The asada was overcooked for my taste, and was very tough. The chorizo was okay but nothing special. The pork roast was very dry, and the stuffing wasn't well distributed so you would get one bite with rosemary, then carrots, etc. instead of having it mixed and evenly distributed so the flavors blended and complimented each other. There have to be better places in Montevideo with better meat.

This is one of the best "parrilladas" grill houses in Uruguay. We started with "molleja" (sweetbread), superb! "riñón" (kidneys) and "chorizo" (sausage), with two kind of "adobo" (dressing) and good bread. The serve all what comes out of the grill on heated molten iron plates over a wood base to keep it warm whilst you cut and eat a portion in ypur own plate. After that CARNE (meat). Some took or shared delicious "rack de cordero" (lamb ribs), others "pulpón" , "vacÃo" and a speciality "matambre" just with garlic. Salads and french fries are typical garnishes. Itps amazing all what they offer from the grill, very carefully grilled and everything at his right and wanted cooking point. Deserts: just try "panqueque de manzana con helado". This "parrillada" is a place to enjoy. You will return.

A great roadside traditional spot on ruta 8 between Soca & ruta 9 junction. We have been twice and food was very good each time. The bread/crackers are fantastic. One caution for USA folks (or others who are not used to late dinners yet) is that Mon-FRI they may reopen for dinner between 8 or 8:30 PM in the evening; Sat/Sun they close at 5PM according to their Facebook listing.

Been here several times (Lunch & Dinner) I have had other items here that were always good but I liked the steak here best, asked for rare (muy muy jugosa; but there's always been English-speaking waiters) and got it. Some places give you medium rare or medium even though I ask for rare. Our friends liked it too. Reasonable prices. When the weather's nice, great to sit out on the sidewalk under a big umbrella. Very popular place with the locals and right on the busier square. The only thing to watch out for is how big the portions are. My solution is to split something if anyone is willing and then I probably will have room for dessert!

This place is great. Steak is awesome. Have to drink the house special drink cost is 35 pesos. Our server want to practice speaking English witch was nice. All of us speak Portuguese, Spanish and English he just wanted to practice. Service is slow tho. I guess it's a south american thing tho as I am america living in Brazil now for 2 years and it is the same there.

Great restaurant in Montevideo. Excellent customer service. The place is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is wonderful. My asado was very good and the coffee was great. We asked for ice cream as dessert and this was the only weak point of our dinner as the ice cream is of poor quality. Anyway I loved the place located in a really nice area of Montevideo, El Prado. I will certainly go back to this restaurant.
