The Cotswolds (/ˈkɒtswoʊldz/ KOTS-wohldz, /-wəldz/ -wəldz) is an area in south central England containing the Cotswold Hills, a range of rolling hills which rise from the meadows of the upper Thames to an escarpment, known as the Cotswold Edge, above the Severn Valley and Evesham Vale. The area is defined by the bedrock of Jurassic limestone that creates a type of grassland habitat rare in the UK and that is quarried for the golden coloured Cotswold stone. It contains unique features derived from the use of this mineral; the predominantly rural landscape contains stone-built villages, historical towns and stately homes and gardens. The population of the District is about 84,000.

Definitely make time to go to this pool, well worth it! Sat nav directs you to the entrance of a park, park in front of the castle where you'll have all day, the other side is limited to 2 hours, both free though, there is parking a little further away for town centre but you have to pay. A little hard to find, we had to ask someone, if you walk away from the park area and turn left there is 1 sign! Once you get in there its amazing; limited seats so get there early If you know it's going to be a hot day, we left the pool at about 11:20 and it was starting to get heaving then. Swimming goggles, ice creams and drinks all available, reasonably priced, books/ costumes to hire at a low donating, lockers £1 refundable. You can use your card to buy things and pay entrance fee which is under £15 for a family of 4. Slide available to use after 11am, really good life guards keeping control of any unruly behaviour. Toddler/ baby pool. Shaded/ covered in areas for sun shade or rain.

Prescott Hill Climb, based just outside of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, is home to one of the world's most prestigious motor racing venues. Set in 60 acres of glorious Cotswold countryside, the estate not only provides a beautiful setting for a range of classic car and bike weekends, but also hosts major motor racing championships. The Bugatti Owners Club was established in 1929 for all motoring enthusiasts regardless of what type of vehicle you drive. The Club is based at Prescott and purchased the estate in 1937, converting the muddy, rutted drive into a speed hiil climb in time for the opening rally in April 1938. The 1127 yard course rises over 200 feet via short straights, fast and slow corners and a breathtaking hairpin, with the fastest modern racing cars completing the course in an exciting 36 seconds. The action can be viewed from strategic points along the course as well as from the restaurant terrace. Visitors and competitors alike can enjoy an exhilarating days racing plus vintage cavalcades up the Hill. Whether you are a competitor, a car or bike enthusiast or someone who just likes a day out in beautiful surroundings Prescott is the place for you.

Sandford Parks Lido - a not for profit charitable trust since 1996. Built in 1935, set in four acres of beautiful landscaped grounds. Many of the original art deco features remain. We are in the very heart of Cheltenham, the town centre is just a brief walk through Sandford Park. Our USP is our olympic size, 50 metre, 10 lane heated outdoor swimming pool. There are spacious family areas with a heated paddling pool and swimming pool. Both indoor and outdoor changing facilities available with access to baby / toddler change. The main pool is heated to 26 degrees, the children’s pools are 30 degrees. We have an in-house cafe with plentiful seating both inside and out.
Visited the lido one sunny afternoon and very much enjoyed the experience. It was as expected with both outdoor and indoor changing facilities. Outdoor facilities were very rustic, well it is the end of the season, but the toilets showers and changing indoor were spotless. Nice little cafe selling a range of hot and cold drinks. Pool clean and clear and heated to good temp. With big steps leading in and out. Met a couple of very friendly regulars. All in all I can't wait for it to reopen again next year

Rush Skatepark is one of the largest indoor skate parks in the world – offering a unique rider experience – for BMX, Scooter, Skateboards, In-Line/Aggressive Skates. It’s also a family-friendly, family-run, award-winning park (and Community Interest Company). Boasting kick-ass facilities, Rush attracts riders and skaters from all over the world. We look forward to seeing you soon!!
I've been taking my nephew to Rush almost every week since August 2019 and I can't fault the place, from both a passionate observers perspective and from an 11 year old scooter riders point of view. The staff at Rush are fantastic - I haven't met a single member of staff who hasn't been warm, welcoming, friendly and willing to go above and beyond at every opportunity to help my nephew and I out. Everyone is very approachable - they all seem to be there because they love the scene as much as we do. Biggest shout out goes to all the instructing staff though - super passionate people who will do everything they can to try and impart that passion into all their lessons/clubs. In terms of facilities, for me it ticks every box. It's in a warehouse so you'll need a coat in the winter. The shop sells pretty much all all the essentials to keep you scooting if you break anything, and the canteen sells all the essentials to keep a cold parent warm, and a non-hyperactive child topped up with sugary goodness! I cant say I have ever used the toilet facilities but I know they have them. If I was really really pushed to offer suggestions to "make Rush better" it would be to offer more tables with plug socket access so that parents/guardians could use laptops whilst waiting for their kids - but that would be me really struggling for suggestions! Love Rush <3

Cotswold Clubhouse is a brand new family activity centre in Bourton on the Water. Opened on 29th July 2018 it encompasses a soft play centre, state of the art gymnasium, party room, and beautiful cafe. The Clubhouse hosts children's activities, with holiday camps during school breaks, there are fitness classes for adults, with a creche on site and we are introducing new things all the time!
Visited from Warwickshire as a place to meet my Australian best friend who was over here visiting family in the Cotswolds. I had no idea what this place would be like but relied on a google search of kid friendly! We were both well impressed! It’s beautifully decorated, clean, they seem to have thought of everything! Staff were lovely friendly professional and helpful (not at all like the usual bored teenagers you tend to find in soft play centres!) Aussies are notoriously fussy about their coffee and my friend told the staff member it was the best coffee she’d had since being back in the UK! We stayed for lunch and this was healthy and delicious. We visited with 2 x 5 year olds and a 1 and 2 year old. It was the perfect place for us to meet up and I will no doubt suit again when in the area. Thanks so much!
