Watch the chef cooking is a real show and savor his dishes is like sitting on the theatre and get involved with a concert of flavors, fragrances and colors. Chef with great experience, he has brought the art of cous cous in the world, representing Trapani
Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante avendo la mezza pensione in hotel.Evidente l'alternanza di portate impiattate "da chef" come il cous cous e i rigatoni bianchi, poco saporiti, con il condimento sul fondo del piatto.

Booked a table here on a Sunday. Service very surly. Fish ok. Avoid the starters. Mains ok but basic. â¬130 for 4 with only a few dishes was expensive. Once we were close to finishing our meal the staff tried to hurry us off the table, unlike when we arrived they ignored us. Had Swordfish ok, standard fare.

Placed since this year in the main street of San Vito Lo Capo, near the sea and the City centre, here at Trattoria Da Mariella you can taste all our traditional sicilian dishes!
My wife and I had dinner in this âTrattoriaâ last evening. We ate crudité (fantastic), octopus with potatoes cream (purè...), caponata and grilled tuna which we accompanied with a Sicilian white wine. It was everything excellent. Particular mention to Dominique. She is extremely professional, warm and pay attention to the customer needs. Only one little suggestion: i would the plastic from the table. Highly recommended.

Having passed this restaurant several times, nodding to the moustachioed chef, I booked a table...then read some TripAdvisor reviews and was a little worried...I like good food and plenty of it...Well, I'm jolly pleased we stopped ordering at the pasta stage...even though I'm a glutton, we could go no further...though I did manage a creamy lemon sorbet. We are crunchy squid... freshly battered morsels of loveliness, broad beans in quality olive oil, mint and lemon and a huge plate of assorted smoked fish with a mountain of melt in the mouth octopus salad.Pasta courses were one tomato based... swordfish, aubergine and roasted almondsAnd one pesto based with fresh prawns and cherry tomatoes...Both delicious with perfectly cooked Al dente pasta. We could eat no more and left very content.Plenty of Italian families out on Sunday night...so I guess they think bird good too.Much less flashy than the places on the main drag, but great food and service

When you open a restaurant choices in the area of kitchen should make the owner are basically two: stay Anco-Rato local traditions or break away and fly towards dishes "foreigners", I mean as such even those in the immediate vicinanze.Il reasoning that le
The food here is amazing-the chef is so talented! Came here two nights while staying inSan Vito. Be adventurous and have the local cuisine and not just the pizza ( even the Italian children eat the fish!)! My favourite starter was the layered aubergine with tomatoes and ricotta with mint- incredible! My pasta with tuna was delicious as was the pasta with aubergine almonds and tomato. There were many people waiting for a table so come here early. Most of them were Italians who expect the best food. Only discovered afterwards that this restaurant features in the Michelin guide-a well deserved entry. Thank you so much for being with us and for taking the time to write this fantastic review. We hope to see you soon

This restaurant is a few streets back form the beach. Perfectly pleasant building, with an outside terrace. No particular atmos. The food is first class; we enjoyed everything we ordered, especially the grilled fish of the day and an excellent caponata. The service was good. Our waiter seemed a bit grumpy, but that made a refreshing change from the otherwise friendly service we received during 3 weeks in Italy.

They served my wife's final course (2of2) simultaneously with my middle course (2of3), not right but not worth complaining. My final course did not arrive and they cleared the table. I decided to give up and asked for the bill. Syrah then worked out they had missed a course and insisted I had it. I said no thanks it's too late but they would not bring the bill and eventually produced the missing course (which was squid in the thickest oiliest breadcrumbs I have seen). There was no apology not one word and we left feeling it had been an expensive bad experience. If you look at the reviews bad service seems to happen with a greater frequency than it should for a restaurant of this expense. In short you can get good food, it is pricy, service is variable. Try elsewhere.
