Been there with my wife for a quick lunch last Saturday, it was my second time in this place in about 3 years as I no longer live in Como, it was a great re-confirmation of how good is the place. They also have touristic menu with drinks ( and wine ) and coffee or the at the end all included for only 15 ⬠per person, we took two of those and enjoyed the well done Italian pasta as well as vegetable soup plus the second dishes were also great.A place to visit if you want to taste original Italian food, authentic and well served by attentive and kind staff.

Ristorante per buongustai. Serviamo portate di carne e pesce rigorosamente freschissimi.Siamo aperti sempre, naturalmente e gradita la prenotazione.
Recommended by our host at B&B LeCamelie, we were lucky to get an early table for two in this long established, authentic restaurant run by husband and wife. The menu was only in italian and very little english was spoken but with a myraid of hand gestures and animal sounds we were able to put together a wonderful meal that we soon learned would be a unique experience as well. The husband/chef brought a selection of meats to choose from and one chose the exact piece they wanted cooked. Then after helping us select a beautiful wine to accompany dinner and serving it, they proceeded to prepare and cook the meat on the open fire hearth next to our table! The pumpkin filled ravioli with brown butter sugar was homemade as well and the whole experience with broken italian/english conversation with the owners was an experience never to be forgotten!

The restaurant is situated in front of the lake, near the funicolar Como-Brunate. Special price for groups and tour operator.
After a long line at Funicolare we stopped for a bite. Extensive wine list and two delicious small plates were perfect for us. We ordered 1/2 bottle of a primitivo, clams and smoked cheese platter. All terrucu .

This is a seriously bad place. Right at the entrance stands the restaurant manager, a screaming lady with clear no formal training whatsoever. Her voice is so loud that you can hear her from everywhere in the restaurant (and possibly from outside!).The other waiters look confused and act rather incompetently. At some point they were taking the dishes away from another table and they thought it good to place them temporarily on ours, including other guestsâ half chewed left overs, whilst they were waiting to pick up our dirty dishes! The food is bland and mediocre. The seared salmon was really cold inside and the sushi was just tasteless. The only good thing is the restaurant decor which is contemporary and pleasing.Overall, a very bad experience.

We went there many times with friends. Service is always very fast and polite; food is fresh and yummy; environment is quite and atmospheric. In general I could recommend this place! P. S. if you decide to go there, try Dolce Japanese necessary, normal and with ice cream inside

Amazing atmosphere and service, all waiters are greatly polite and complaisant. Values are bigger than average but the dinner worth it. The restaurant is based on seafood and fish but a few meat dishes are also available. The only minus about food is olive oil. It was added to every dish and extremely decreased my opinion about the evening.
