Set between Milan and Verona at the foot of the Alps, Brescia is the second-largest city in Italy’s northern Lombardy region, with just under 200,000 people. The city’s rich history dates back to pre-Roman times, when it was a Gallic capital. Among the many great local sights are the 11th-century Duomo Vecchio (Old Cathedral, also called La Rotonda), unique for its circular shape, the 17th-century Duomo Nuovo (New Cathedral) next door, and the first-century Roman ruins at Tempio Capitolino.

Our B&B hosts told us about this restaurant. They said it was wonderful. We finally found it after a short walk and a little shopping. Sooooooo when we got there, there were not many people, but it soon filled up with private parties etc. We had a wonderful waiter, lots of fun. He spoke English, which was great. The waiter suggested this special steak which was horse meat. And of course my husband will try anything, so he had that special which kind of grossed me out, but we both eat steak, so no big deal. He loved his steak. Prior to our dinner we had Prosciutto and cheese. Well, the gentlemen that was slicing the Prosciutto the correct way was a hoot. Since my husband is Italian, this was right up his alley. So, the gentleman became our new best friend. It was fun. I had a killer steak and wonderful vegetables. We also enjoyed lots of wonderful house wine. Hmmmm you say, house wine, well it is pretty darn good in Italy. I wouldn't even think about ordering house wine in the States. So we sat there and had our coffee and dessert and then our waiter wanted to show us their wine cellar. The restaurant was built on top of a Roman ruin and the wine cellar was built into the ruin a number of steps down. OMG my husband was going nuts with all of the very old and amazing wine they had down there. That was a fun time with our waiter. We finally had to leave, but not until we said Ciao to our new friends. This restaurant is definitely a must to do when you are visiting Brescia. And I would say, make reservations on the weekends because it is a pretty popular place.

Me and my boyfriend went there in december. It was a bit tricky to enter the restaurant because the door is not well signed. But once inside we were shown our table by the waitress. The service was nice and I do not agree others here who say they are rude. That at least was not our case. The food is delicious! I have never eaten so good 'all you can eat' sushi. I truly recommend this place!

We went in this central restaurant in a sunday evening and we could have a private room-table even if the restaurant was all full of people. The ambient is very nice, especially the ambiance in the private rooms because e you can appreciate more silence and privacy than the other parts of the restaurant. For this reason, we exit out private room at midnight and we didn't realize that no other guest had left in the local. The food is quite good, mainly sashimi and fish (the vegetable sushi is more than conventional, like the udon dishes) recipes. The cooking of the rice was nearly good and the tasted mixed correctly.Service is ready, fast and always present but not suffocating. It's a bit overpriced for a non really authentic japanese but I guess the quality is supposed to be very high for a city like Brescia.I think I'll come back again, especially for the ambient.

We went here for dinner with friends and family. Sushi was outstanding and the main courses as well. White rice with grilled eel and spicy soups with coconut milk were only among a few things we ordered. The atmosphere in the restaurant in very calming and relaxing. We really had a wonderful evening here!!

Falafel was great, chicken shawarma also nice but a little bit overcooked to my taste. Service was attentive, friendly and not too slow. Surprisingly good and unannoying music (frankly, I expected less from a middle-east restaurant). Overall, a nice cosy place with its own atmosphere. A good break from italian food.
