Reviews on Soups food in Amalfi, Province of Salerno, Italy. If it's your first time visiting the Amalfi Coast, chances are you'll do a double-take the first time you see a roadside lemon stand. Yes, those are lemons, and yes, they are the size of your head. But despite their freakish appearance, you will grow to love these lemons because the locals use them to produce limoncello. And take it from us, there's nothing like a glass of limoncello as you gaze out at the sea from the balcony of your hotel in Amalfi. It's pretty much perfection.

Since 1955, a tasty history Inside the narrow streets, through the Moorish streets and all the little squares near the sea, Minor collects the scents and flavors of it are cooking traditions. Here, let us not forget, was produced handmade pasta, which bec
Stopped in during our week-long stay in Minori after reading all the great reviews. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Both indoor and covered outdoor seating. Service was generally inattentive (even by Italian waiter standards). Food was good, but not any better than other local restaurants and pricier. We didn't go back.Dear jkp99b,thanks a lot for choosing our restaurant!I'm sorry we did not meet your expectations although we always do our best.Hopefully you'll give us one more chance in the future, grazie,Antonio & Giovanni Di Bianco.

Stopped in to "Le Arcate" for our last evening dinner in Atrani......June 2019! Had a very enjoyable dinner with friends along the Atrani waterfront! Having spaghetti, 50/50 pizza (margarhita/salami) and haouse red wine........very good!.......prices are very reasonable!

We dined by the seaside during a tour of Amalfi. We shared a peaceful lunch; in Amalfi it is nice to have a break from the crowds. Both the food and service were excellent. The seafood is very fresh and the meals were prepared to perfection.

Really puzzled by the mixed reviews. We tried this restaurant having been disappointed by the menus on offer for a couple of other places our hotel had recommended. The service was friendly and quick, the menu had a good range of options, and the food was a well cooked and delicious. This region of Italy is quite expensive, but this was decent value and certainly not the ridiculous tourist prices for just being able to sit facing the Duomo! We went back a second time on our last night and enjoyed it just the same.

Had dinner here with a group of 5. They accommodated us no problem and the service was wonderful! The food was good too. Great indoor and outdoor seating options!

Unfortunately we have spend one of our evenings at this restaurant. We have seen the reviews and the food was a bad surprise! Plates with low quality and fantasy, extremely expensive. But the main problem was the staffs' behavior. They were literary "throwing" the plates on the table, without saying nothing. At 10.00 in the night the table besides us was reserved by an Italian family of 8 persons with 3 babies (1-3 years old!!!) that they were screaming with their parents all the time. Suddenly from the other tables people were talking loudly in an effort to cover all the noise of this table! When we called the manager to complain about the situation he told us "the children are the future of Italy!!!) with an aggressive way and he told us to leave the place if we didn't like it!!!!!!!

The restaurants in cathedral square Amalfi were packed to capacity and finding a place to have some lunch, was proving very difficult, but luckily hidden away up a few steps in the shadow of the cathedral, we found this lovely little restaurant the Taverna degli Apostoli, serving the most amazing food, I had a Caprese salad like no other I have ever tasted, and my daughter said the pasta was the best she had ever eaten. The deserts too were delicious and well worth finding extra room for. The restaurant is run by a local couple who care so deeply about both the food and the service, nothing is to much trouble. This is definitely one of our best foodie memories of a great holiday on the beautiful Amalfi coast.
