Hub of the North, host of the 2015 Canada Winter Games and one of BC’s friendliest, most outgoing communities, Prince George is a vital crossroad for Northern British Columbia. Located at the confluence of the Fraser and Nechako rivers, where Highways 97 and 16 launch road-trippers on a variety of adventures, PG is a regional centre for shopping, arts and sports, where industry and innovation coexist, outdoor recreation is a way of life, and northern wilderness and urban amenities converge.

My husband and I visited the Goodsir Nature Park this past weekend for the first time. It is an absolute gem of a place. We had the good fortunate to spend some time with Mr. Jim Good, the owner and developer of this incredible place. He generously shared with us the history of the Park, his love of nature and his other passion, music. We left there feeling so much gratitude for this amazing place, its story, and most of all, for having the pleasure to meet such an incredibly generous human being. Mr. Good is a man who will restore your faith in humanity.

You have to try the Thursday night makers lab. So much fun. Can't say enough good stuff about it. Bring the kids or go on your own. Look up what special things they have going on. There seems to be something for everyone.
