Golf, sunbathing and fishing entice resort-minded vacationers to North Myrtle Beach, which hugs the South Carolina coast at the northern end of its famous Grand Strand strip. In the home of "the shag," the infectious 1930s dance that still swings through the local clubs, a family-friendly vibe prevails. Explore a nature trail filled with migratory birds, go for thrills at one of the local amusement parks or take in live theater. The mild subtropical climate means that outdoor activities are an option year-round.

Very inspirational lady doing Gods work in the world. She opens her home up and makes you feel like family. Every shell she touches is blessed. Definitely need to make a trip by her place to see all the beauty. Our daughter was getting married and at the last minute she painted and personalized gifts for our guest. She even had them personally wrapped to give out. Our beach wedding was blessed by Jesus Shells

This was a great place for all ages! My husband and I went with three children (12,10 and 2) and my parents. We all had a blast. The kids loved watching them feed the alligators and seeing all the different animals. We will definitely be going back! And an added bonus they had VERY CLEAN restrooms! Great experience!

My husband and I arrived in N Myrtle in Oct 2019 to "snowbird" for the winter and seek a home to purchase. We drove past Barefoot Church on the way into Main St, so tried it the first Sunday we were in town. Great P & W, great sermon and very welcoming. We purchased a home 1/2 hour south of the church. We have tried several churches nearer our home, which has been difficult due to Covid. We haven't been able to find a church that we like as well as Barefoot, so we have returned to attending there on Sundays. If you are used to contemporary Christian music, a pastor who preaches God's word from the Bible, and a congregation that is friendly, who are community ministry minded - then you will enjoy this church during vacation or long term. Their 9AM service makes it very easy to attend church and get to the beach in the late am.

We are located in North Myrtle Beach, SC. Our services include a retail shop, tackle and bait shop, rod and reel rentals and sales. We have beautiful scenery and views located directly on the Grand Strand.
Had a wonderful time seeing a manta ray caught (and released) by a fisherman and a number of beautiful jelly fish. Only wish we saw the sea turtles that frequent the area and feast upon them. Heard from the gentleman in the Pier shop that some of the turtles are huge! Wonderful view of the beach skyline and saw surfers as well. Small fish were caught and we got to learn things from the fishermen as well. Hold on to your hats as that breeze is strong!
