This castle/palace is really nice place to visit. Its location on the top of a hill dominating the town is an advantage, of course. Inside it is eclectic which is reflecting on castle growing from century to century and, also, various alterations fue to fires, etc. When I visited in November they did not have audioguide or a guided tour in English. However, they gave me a detailed brochure explaining history of the place and various rooms in English. You can only visit, though, with a guide, who has to open all the doors. The church, the ball hall and specifically the Bach hall in German renaissance style are marvelous. Walk across part towards Orangerie and Lindenau museum (which has small but great collection).
