Soak up the sun on the well-maintained beaches of Agadir, southern Morocco's most-visited city. Palm-lined boulevards and beachfront bars add a decidedly Western-resort feel, amplified by the large number of Europeans who flock here in the winter months. It’s all about laid-back relaxation in Agadir, so ride a camel, rent a beach buggy, check out the Suq al-Had market or take the 20-minute walk up to the ruins of the Agadir Kasbah for expansive city views if you’re taking a break from the beach.

A huge crocodile head marks the main entrance of the parc. An innovative concept and a unique project in Agadir, in the south of morocco. The farm within the Atlantic area contains more than 300 of Nil crocodiles (Crocodylus niloticus). The architecture and the design of the parc give the feeling to be in a forest, offering you the sight of a lot of unique trees and plants varieties.

The organised tours are likely to take you to the filthy, litter-ridden, tourist-heavy sections of this valley. It probably was beautiful once, but human lack of environmental concern has ashamedly tarred much of this supposed Paradise. The more scenic sections can be found with local information and taking a good, long walk. I can't entirely write it off, we saw plenty of wildlife and there are some good photo opportunities but with a sad price - tag.
Kasbat Souss includes a shaded restaurant, open to both artisans and visitors. They serve excellent tagines or the dish of the day, which can consist of sardines, for example. You can eat there almost at any time. The place is simple, charming, pleasant and shaded. The prices are extremely reasonable. Fresh squeezed orange juice, without any addition of water. Certain craftsmen work in front of the visitors: weavers busy in their loom, potters, cobblers, tinsmiths, stone and wood carvers, specialists in cedar wood marquetry. This last specialty, born in Essaouira, spread to Agadir with a certain happiness. A pottery workshop called Agadir Poterie is installed at the back of Kasbat Souss, ocean side. You can order all kinds of custom objects. The terracotta letters which designate the main rooms of the Garden of Stars, such as the Atlas Lounge, come from here.

The soul Al had is A large souk with around 6,000 stalls, Souk El Had is surprisingly easy to navigate when compared with many sprawling souks around Morocco. Twelve gates lead into the souk, and clear numbering makes it easy to arrange a meeting point and get your bearings. The crowds and chaos can, however, make some people feel overwhelmed; if that is the case, just walk in one direction until you come to an outer gate. You can then walk around the outer walls to get to where you want to be, or catch a taxi if you don’t want to walk. The stalls are grouped in a fairly well-organised manner, meaning that you can head straight to a particular gate if there are certain items you’re interested in buying
