I looked up the word Sumaq after my first time coming to this beautiful little store. Sumaq means very beautiful or nice in the Quechua language, native to Peru. And what a fitting name! Come visit the store at San Bautista and be transported to Peru, from the beautifully adorned jewelry, hand crafted clothes and bags, to the stunning frames and artwork. On top of such beautiful craftsmanship, the customer service and staff are second to none. I for one can’t wait to come back for more artwork to hang in my home and to ask them more about Peru. Can’t wait to trek out on my own adventure to Peru after visiting Sumaq Art!

We went to San Juan Bautita and enjoyed walking Third Street. There are a variety of great stores. They include art galleries, antique stores, a Peruvian Store. There are places for a drink. We had dinner at Jardines de San Juan. We liked the decorations around the street lights. We also liked the Valentine's heart as we were there right before Valentine's Day. San Juan Bautista is a charminig historical town with a mission.

We did some clock shopping at Mission Clocks and Watches. It is on the main shopping area of San Juan Bautista on 3rd street. They have a good variety of clocks, including many nostalgic ones. This time they also had some old typewriters.

We were in San Juan Bautista and enjoyed exploring the shops on 3rd Street. We like the goods, jewelry, clothing, and more at Alpaca Headquarters - Your Peruvian Store. There are also some very cute stuffed llamas.
