El Vergel bistro menu is created by Donnie Masterton and Magda Pablos taking its culinary cues from the timeless dishes and preparations of the classic French bistro and enlivens them utilizing modern techniques and bold flavors.
We just had an enjoyable lunch afternoon for 5 with nearly the entire place to ourselves. We were seated in the corner of the banquette and were dappled with sun coming through the courtyard tree centrepiece. Thursdays there is a pasta special with a choice of two unique pasta dishes including a choice of several good wines. Delicious bread made on the premises is complimentary and well worth the calories. The in-house pasta dishes were beautifully-prepared and presented. Service from Monica and Aldo and Fabricio and Jose was personal and professional. Regular customers are welcomed warmly and called by name. The on-site deli has an amazing range of quality gourmet products and in-house prepared food items. A lovely place to spend a morning, afternoon and some evenings as well at the end of a poorly-maintained road that is well worth the short drive out of town. What a nice comments, everyday we try hard to keep quality in all that we do. We are grateful to know that you like what you find at El Vergel Bistro, our floor staff are friendly and professional as you mentionated. Thanks for visited us and hope to see you soon!

We visited Sirena Gorda twice this week, first on Wednesday and then Friday. Wednesday we enjoyed the live music of American rock and roll played by LatÃn On. We began with their famous ginger margaritas which my wife had and a shot of tequila for me. Usually we share an appetizer and an entre and this evening we had the special of Frijoles Charros and Grilled Robalo. Both were outstanding and recommend that you try them. Brenda did a good job waiting on us.Friday we returned for another round of ginger margaritas and a shot of prime tequila and only a dessert of double chocolate cake which we shared. Thanks to Jovani who waited on us.But hereâs what Iâll always remember, their customer loyalty.Friday we left no realizing I had left my small Bagallini. At 3 am I was awakened by the manager Abrahan Velasquez who said he believed that it belonged to me. So as not to awaken him, I later texted him and asked him to call me which he did so. Since I was leaving SMA before opening hours I asked if I could get it sooner to which he said heâd meet me in 20 minutes and 20 minutes it.When offered something for his troubles, he kindly declined and I went on my way.I would have given Sirena Gorda a 5 anyway. My only regret is I canât give them a 10. Muchas gracias, Abrahan y un fuerte abrazo.

DELIGHTS OF THE SEA! Come and meet a rich variety of quality seafood prepared in the style of the Port of Veracruz and the Mexican Caribbean Coast. We will waiting for you!
We had the isla mujeres(tuna) and tokio(scallops). Being our first visit we didnt realize they would come raw (we thought maybe seared). Both dishes were very tasty, seemed fresh which is remarkable for sma. This place is about a 10 min walk from centro which added to its charm. Service was probably a little over efficient but it just appears that everyone working there really cares. this is also reflected by having the cleanest bathroom of any restaurant we have visited in sma. we would return and rate it ahead of baja fish in centro. with tip we paid $400mxn with 2 drinks. for fresh seafood this is exceptional.Thank you very much for your comment, we strive every day to have our customers satisfied with the quality and service. It was a pleasure to serve you, we hope to see you soon!

Thanks to local friends who live nearby on the street, I found Grille Torres at Cjon, de la Bayoneta #2 in the San Antonio neighborhood. It a quarter block west of Ancha de San Antonio. So when the weekend or holiday crowds are large in town, this is a great alternative to one of the Centro restaurants. They feature primarily a menu of fish and seafood but do have burgers, salads and more. I did go for Saturday brunch and thought the eggs benedict with potatoes was a great choice. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I really enjoyed meeting and Chef Mauro Torres who is delightful.

Everyone raves about the ginger and tamarind margaritas and rightly so.They were delicious.Old-style cantina given a modern makeover and well worth the journey up a very steep hill especially if you cheat in a taxi like we did. Some great old-fashioned ballads being played on the sound system as well made it a cool spot to linger on a hot afternoon.A little soulless however and the staff, whilst not unfriendly, could have been more welcoming - hopefully their excellent TA reviews are not being taken for granted.

Authentic fish tacos and shrimp tacos Ensenada, Baja California style. We also offer ceviche tostadas, shrimp cocktails, marlin tacos, spicy shrimp tacos and much more.
Look closely as you go up Mesones; itâs on the north side. The food is fresh, delicious and served hot in little covered baskets. I recommend the Chili relleno with smoked marlin but there is lots to choose from. Staff is courteous, attentive. Prices are reasonable

My family visited the location for late lunch / early dinner. There is no parking, so you need either to walk or to take a taxi / Uber. The environment is nice, service is fast and courteous. The food was good, but maybe I had just a tad higher expectations of Peruvian cuisine. Pisco sour was terrific, highly recommendable! Desert was good, but the chocolate cake was just excellent, we asked for a second slice for carry out. Overall, we were pleased with experience.

Another neighborhood gem on this stretch of road in San Miguel! Mario's has outstanding seafood for very reasonable prices which would be good enough reasons to go eat there, But as a bonus, there are crazy toys suspended from all over the ceiling and I'm pretty sure those hanging lamps in the main room are made out of blow fish! Kids and kid-like folks (like us) love it. Tasty food for a great price with a sense of humor is a combo that can't be beat in our book! And Mario himself is a cool guy to talk to. We've lived in SMA for 3 months now and love this place. A feel-good spot for your stomach and your soul.
