This is the latest incarnation at this popular location. New this season and we walked into a karaoke night held off the bar. Fortunately there are separate dining rooms so you can avoid this feature if you are so inclined. We opted for outdoor seating which was shot lived due to it being too buggy. Inside was far more pleasant and the wait staff does a good job of being attentive. I started dinner with a seafood bisque that had clams & muscles still in the shells. Now here is where it gets dicey. Any shell fish must be served with a seafood fork and a place to put the shells. Neither was present nor offered. So we have what seemed to be a very tasty soup poorly presented. Next, Crab Cake sandwich which was HUGE and the size of a good sized burger, served on a bun with lettuce & tomato. They serve fries with that in a miniature fry basket. Very clever presentation however in this case the quality of the crab cake was less than stellar. So, I'm 50/50 on this place, some good food, poorly presented and some poor food well presented. Add extra points for being in a marina as I do, but given the availability of really great places to eat in and around this town, they will not see me back. Moderate dinner for two was $83.83, without coffee or desert. Not great bang for the buck.

Went last night to this, a local restaurant, we had never visited. Had a nice corner table as we arrived early with a wonderful view of the marina and the Port Washington shoreline beyond. Water came quickly, but then we had to wait a while to order drinks and longer for them to arrive. Our appetizers finally arrived after quite a while, and they were quite good, especially the cod cakes. But for our entrees we waited and waited. The table next to us who had arrived after us, had been served and left...still no entrees. Called for the manager who apologized comped us our drinks and promised to get our entrees on the way. Finally, they came. What a disappointment. The lobster on a cob was overcooked and barely luke warm The taco cod was dry as a bone and basically inedible. There is such potential for a great restaurant here, but unless the staff and the kitchen are improved....stay away!

I can not say enough good things about this restaurant. The service was good, the outdoor dining was exceptional (just a great summer night) and the food excellent. The meal I had was one of the most delicious ever. I totally recommend the artichoke lasagna, the stuffed artichoke was between thin layers of lasagna noodle with a marinara sauce around it. Also the fried calamari was crispy and very tasty. My husband had a Rib Eye special which he enjoyed as well. Our server was very competent and did make some recommendations too, she was very nice. The only downside to the outdoor dining was the tables were not set with linens like inside the restaurant and we sat in plastic chairs. The view was excellent though.

As part of a trio of restaurants owned by the same entrepreneurial restauranteur at that corner of Port Washington, F.I.S.H. on Main is a good, lively bistro with fish (of course), pasta and meat dishes. The short-staffed crew were harried and overwhelmed so drink and food arrivals were delayed. Three of us enjoyed our dinners but the fourth who had seafood pasta thought the generous seafood portion was good, but the pasta was mushy. Our friends had been several times before and said this was unusual, but the food was mainly good.

Had 14 people for a birthday party on a Sunday. Service was outstanding, from the host to the wait staff, everything was flawless. All the food was cooked to order and brought to the table at about the same time. Could not have been happier with the experience.

New England-style clam shack dock side in Capri Marina West on Manhasset Bay serving Lobster Rolls, Fried Seafood, Fresh Local Fish, Beer and Wine.
This is a very friendly and scenic clam shack with good food. We would return again for the fine atmosphere.

Such an interesting menu that combines the food of two different cultures. When ordering you can go with more traditional sushi items or chose those with a Peruvian touch. We really enjoyed our small plate appetizers and our roll choices of the incredible roll and the crazy Maguro roll. Our Banana Pecan dessert was fantastic. Prices are a little high but worth it.

One of Long Island's oldest and most colorful restaurants. From its start in 1905, Louis Zwerlein's "Kare Killer" was a most unusual place. One had to get there by boat since it was built on a floating barge anchored out in the bay. One of its side attrac
If expectations were high, they quickly deflated. Requested a table next to window with a view, which we received. It was in the large room to the left side. Even though it was cool outside, very cold air was streaming down from the vent. We asked if they could turn the temperature up or stop the air flow. We asked five times. Action was only taken after two other tables began to complain. Appetizers/soup was quite good and brought out fairly quickly. But then we waited about another half hour for our entries. I ordered short rib, which had quite a bit of unrendered fat on it. Flavor was other very good. My wife had a seafood special, but the scallops were never properly cleaned and gritty with sand. The small molded rice that came with the dish was significantly undercooked. The same was true of the same dish delivered to my sister-in-law. Service was quite good and the waitress after hearing about the rice, brought out a bowl of rice which was cooked very nicely. Finally started to get comfortable, but that large room is also extremely noisy and we could hardly carry on a conversation.Summary: Very inconsistent quality of food preparation, comfort of guests not a priority. Food quality, if prepared or cooked correctly, quite good. And service, from our one example, was fine and attentive.Hi TroonDrinker.
