In a fairly unassuming location, by the marina in St Raphael. But the food was excellent; portions huge;service extremely friendly and helpful. You need to book - we didnât, and at 7pm managed to get one of the only 2 unreserved tables - on a Monday evening. 10 minutes later, people were being turned away.Not expensive. Definitely worth a try

Small menu but the quality is excellent if you are looking for great fish and seafood No pizza, no burgers and no frozen ingredients. Service was great as well

Fill your boots here with delicious French food. Staff were great even though busy, and this was so say out of season! Really good guy that seemed to keep coming out and keeping a watchful eye on things. Everything ran smoothly, food and wine was so good I have to say we left feeling we could not possibly eat another thing! We have had cocktails at Barco beach before and decided we would visit again about 17.00 Wednesday 4th September 2019.Having enjoyed great Mojitos before we ordered two originals at â¬13.50.The cocktails were good but it was disappointing that I had to ask for nibbles which were available but ours were forgotten.We had a great time and we might be back although there is a lot of choice a few steps away.

We were inspired to visit Le Cercle on a Sunday lunchtime as a nearby restaurant to our house in Les Issambres. Also we had already met the very friendly owner who promised a good table overlooking the water on the outside terrace. I had a delicious first course of egg parfait with lightly cooked veg and parmesan sauce, followed by equally tasty and fresh turbot with quinoa and veg. Too full for pud but my husband shared his cafe gourmand. Everyone if our party loved the food and the friendly service. The only criticism was the plateau of seafood in that half the selection was made up of crevettes instead of offering a few oysters with would have been more worthwhile on a 45 euro spend. Also the ice melted so quickly underneath and therefore diluted some of the fish. Perhaps a dish not suited to these warmer climes. However, our hosts will definitely return.Tres bon lieu, repas bien prepare, chef proprietaire charmant. Assez chaud pour s'asseoire dehors mois d'octobre le midi!

Trip to the south of france with the lids - we needed an evening meal at found ourselves in St Raph. Loads of choice and we plumped for la renaissance. Not inspiring but reasonable food at a reasonable price. Everyone managed to find something to eat from the menu and, bearing in mind the location, it was bank breaking! Not sure I'd actually recommend this but it did what was required

Great beach restaurant with a fantastic view. We had an outstanding meal with the fish platter to share - possibly one of the tastiest selection of fresh fish ever ! Bravo!The house rosé was great value to accompany the food. One pudding will suffice for four adults as portions are very generous. There is a small sandy beach area to relax and enjoy the sun with some gummy shoes to wear on the stony walk in to the sea for a swim. Overall a super spot to spend a day and relax with great food.
