la persona que nos atendiò no tenìa mucha informaciòn sobre la carta. La trucha a la marinera tenìa un condimento no agradable, el arroz no era del dìa, con èsta decepciòn no autoricè la propina los meseros, quienes de manera grosera no se despidieron. Creo que no volverè. Gracias

As my husband and I decided that our next destination was going tone very exotic...well we did it...we decided Colombia (Armenia) coffee region of Colombia.As we walked towards the Parque Sucre, before the Parque Sucre we came across what we look to us a very nice restaurant; we looked at the outside menu and decided to go in.I ordered a Cazuela de Mariscos (a beautiful fish and sea food stew in a coconut sauce with white wine) freshly made in the oven (you might have to wait 20 minutes for it, but worthwhile the wait if you like this kind of food).My husband had Breast of chicken in a wonderful mushroom sauce; you also had a choice of French fries or other type of dish such a rice (Colombians love rice).Is also good to know that in Colombia is very common to ask for the Menu de el dia (a full course meal for very good value), make sure you go somewhere nice for it; more or less every restaurant cooks it on the day.

Un lugar agradable con dos ambientes muy interesantes para sus visitantes, la parte interior que da un aspecto hogareño y calido y la hermosa terraza que da a un guadual y da una sensacion de tranquilidad que no se encuentra en muchos lugares en medio de la ciudad. Tranquilo, silencioso y con muy buena atencion de su personal. El cafe es delicioso y ofrecen una gran variedad de presentaciones del mismo como de comida para acompañar las bebidas. Se puede llegar caminando unas cuatro cuadras desde la avenida Bolivar o una desde la Carrera 19 si andas en transporte publico o en tu vehiculo propio y encontraras parqueadero justo afuera del lugar. Muy recomendado.

This nicely appointed, comfortable restaurant is located on a side street in Armenia. It's off the beaten path. It's last incarnation was as a faux French restaurant. It recently changed, much for the better, to a Peruvian menu. From starting with a nice Pisco sour, fresh ceviche, we had entrees of Lomo Saltado- delicious tender beef with fries & veggies, and Chupe de Pescados, a tasty fish soup, with big pieces of corvina & other seafood. Finished with a lovely homemade brownie. Tab fr two, with two Piscos & a beer was about $60 with tip. Not cheap for the area, but not too steep.Service is friendly and impeccable. I hope they develop a following. The food & service merit it.

First, you need to know everything is ala cart. This can be a very expensive lunch if you are hungry and want a complete meal. The portions are small and more suitable as something for an evening after the movies. I had the mussles with aracacha puree. The puree was cold, very small portion, and the mussles were small and the wine sauce was "raw" (not cooked to burn off the alcohol) and very strong. My companion had the camarones encocada which were cold, though they would be a normal portion, with rice that was also cold. My mussles were hot, however. We ordered juice as soon as we sat down, and it didn't arrive until we finished our meal, and then they forgot to add the sugar to one. Waiting for that replacement was well over 20 minutes.When I addressed these issues with management, they simply said they hoped service would be better when we returned. Why would I return?

I had the opportunity to visit this exquisite restaurant last October and was very glad to have such a wonderful meal in this very nice restaurant. Te food is delicious and the ambiance just spectacular. You can see the birds flying and singing just a few meters away from your table and lots of butterflies and other animals dancing around. The owner is very friendly as is the staff. Perhaps the best restaurant in the entire department of Quindio !!!

We were a walk in party of 4 on a Saturday afteroon, a server immediately attended us as we walked in. The place is very colorful and nicely decorated . Our server Cristian was very friendly and kind he explained the menu thoroughly. The food was great and dessert helado con brownie is a must ! It was delicious Overall we loved our server and our El Solar experience.
