Birthday party and sunshine. We were party of about 60 and had a seven course banquet. Every dish was great. The big bonus is the surrounding area. Started with a walk around the wooden structures designed and built by local school childern, although to comply with regulations they were re-built by proffessionals. Next to the restaurant is an enclosure with goats which is great for the kids to stretch legs during 5 hour event. The large area alsoo good for having races. Finally there is good pier to cool down in the lake as well as sauna to warm up as water temperature is quite cold in early summer. The receprion hall is roomy, the staff are excellent. And al the food is freshly made on the premisses. Even the bread.

Went to the restaurant for their Sunday lunch buffet. The selection was good for a typical danish lunch and is recommendable. The staff is friendly but they were very busy when we were there.Good for vegetariansReally good coffee

While visiting her garden nearby we required somewhere convenient where we could park in the small coach and enjoy a light and quick lunch stop all of these criteria were superbly met by this location. The service was excellent everything was ready for our pre-booked arrival time and the food when served was extremely well presented and very tasty.I look forward to coming back someday in the not too distant future.

We went for lunch having read some pretty nice reviews and we were not disappointed.Nothing special, just a hamburger with bacon and fries. However the meat was a good quality and it was NOT overdone.

Food is okey and the service is very friendly. They could lift the standard with a bit more effort in the kitchen: the last original touch. If you announce Tapas on the menu you should stay away from the Danish hotel concept of tapas. Its not tapas. Go Spanish and make it more original. The dishes on the menu should be perfect. So a bit more practice on those. The menu and the kitchen is above average - but still some improvements needed considering the location and clientele.

When we arrived at Madam Bagger they where actually closed between lunch and dinner, but they opened up anyway for us. We ate some great danish "smørbrød". The kids had club sandwiches. The portions where large and the food tasted great. Excellent staff as well. I can really recommend this place. Will definately go back if I'm in the area.
