The Silva Bay Pub will temporarily be closed due to unforeseen circumstances
and will reopen at a later date yet to be determined.

Beautiful waterfront pub and family restaurant with patio and magnificent views. Live music, events and weddings. Fabulous fresh seafood and pub fare.
This is a very attractive restaurant on a very small Island in the gulf Island chain of British Columbia. Very attentive staff offering a nice variety of food during our luncheon event along with pitchers of various draft beers. We selected the Hoyne Vienna Amber Lager.

We pride ourselves in creating honest and satisfying breakfasts, lunches and dinners from 8 am to 8 pm, 7 days a week. All menu items are available for take-away.
Good, basic style food and very large helpings. I had the salmon quiche that came with a very large side salad that was very tasty. Couldn't finish the salad cuz I wanted to be able to finish the creamy quiche. Very good lunch place.

We promised ourselves breakfast on Gabriola Island and found Mad Rona's steps from the ferry terminal. As soon as we walked in the door, we were impressed by the ambiance- high ceilings, large windows with lots of light and various Seating areas filled with people enjoying a rainy Saturday morning in Paradise....
Happy to find celiac choices on the menu, we all chose the Breakfast Burrito with a gf wrap.House Filled with black beans, mozarella, fresh salsa, lettuce & chipotle sour cream this was a delicious meal! We were impressed with how well the wrap stayed together and enjoyed every bite.
The coffee is of excellent quality and staff is friendly and helpful.
Mad Rona's is definitely worth a visit when you're on Gabriola Island.

A popular Gabriola dining experience. A range of imaginative pizza is on the menu. The ribs are a particular favourite of mine. Unfortunately they are not always on the menu.

Well, you might think bacon and eggs are just bacon and eggs, but this week, Chef Chlyn raised the bar with a perfect plate of food. The eggs...perfect....bacon crisp and not greasy...hashbrowns..fresh potatoes (not previously frozen like most breakfast service on Gabriola) and perfectly seasoned and deliciously crisp...even the toast rocked!!! Thank you for such a yummy brunch experience!

Specialty foods, fresh and frozen fish and seafood. Sandwiches, soup and Daily food specials.
A wonderful store with so many interesting things - you could spend hours in here exploring. Highly novel items for the home, great gifts and cards, specialty foods (but well priced) and a great range of prepared foods, meat, seafood, soups etc. They make their own hummus and it has to be the best anywhere (I don't like sharing this fact in case it gets too popular and I won't be able to get it.)
A real asset for Gabriola.

Gabriola's downhome bistro, serving housemade lunches, dinners, latenight pizza and desserts. Family friendly, licensed premises with patio. Eat-in/Take-out/Delivery.
I enjoyed a delicious veggie Sandwich with fries. Great service, live music and good food. The prices were quite reasonable as well.
