There is a chowking in Alaminos, none in Lucap. The menu is standard of any chowking - I like the chowking lauriat, and choriso fried rice best. It is large and spacious enough to seat many people. Alaminos is a pretty normal mid sized town, with a large supermarket and a busy main street.

For me the staff make it a lovely place. They have always been attentive, helpful and friendly. Yes you can eat for less in the eateries nearby for a change but we enjoyed the food at Maxine's.

We had lunch here on the way to Bani. Our babies complained about the heat so we sat near the electric fan. Their screens were inefficient; there were lots of pesky insects inside. Their music and food were good but it took them so long...MoreMam thank you for bringing it up about your dining experience with us. And i am very sorry for that. Hope we could still make it up.

We went to Mon's buffet for Lunch & found the food average. The cuisines are basically fillipino. The cost is also not high.

Had been meaning to get there for some time now. Heard it was good but you never know for sure. We started with coffee and a shake, wow coffee was great as expected but the shake was in a mason jar with cookies and choc covered pretzels on top! Very nice and great service. When friends arrived we tried the longanisa nachos and chicken and waffle. Didn't expect much being in the Philippines. Great surprise both where terrific! After more coffee and conversation we decided to order more food, lol. The Filipinos tried the pork and chicken something (sorry don't remember the name) breakfast with fried rice and egg. Fantastic choice! Americans tried the oriental tapas breakfast also great! Filipinos didn't like the oriental sauce on the meat but the beef was so tender. We will be back soon! Best food in Alaminos. Small menu but its enough. Want to try that blueberry cheese cake (they had one but someone ordered it)
For an authentic Filipino and Ilocano dish on the road.

My friend recommended to me this burger joint. She said they serve the best burgers that may outrun the popular burger joints we already have. We ordered burgers and fries. The fries were real potatoes! The burgers were all natural! Not just processed meat like the usual! And i love the spicy aioli in their Hell Walker Burger, cheese sauce and pig-Out Spread as a dip for the fries. Great price for a great experience!
