We decided to spend our wedding anniversary at the Mandapa and were blown away by the beauty of the resort. Our pool villa by the Ayung river was blissful and we couldn't have wished for anything better. We were totally content to spend the days in our villa lazing by the pool or relaxing in the lounge with the soothing sounds of the river in the background. Breakfast at the Sawah was wonderful and we never tired of the view. We had a romantic dinner at the Kubu in a cocoon by the river and really enjoyed the ambience and cuisine. On our last day there, we enjoyed great sundowners at the Amber. A sunset to savour! The only thing better than the scenery and location was the service. From check-in to check-out, nothing was left to chance. Great attention to detail which we greatly appreciated. Being a Ritz Carlton Reserve property, we set the bar very high but it was easily exceeded at all the outlets. Kudos to all the staff and a special thanks to our Patih, Selly, who made our stay very comfortable and catered to our every need. What more can we say? We have run out of superlatives to describe this wonderful resort - quite simply, a piece of heaven on earth!

COMO Uma Ubud is located in central Bali, close to the cultural hub of Ubud with tropical views of temples, rice paddies and the Tjampuhan Valley. The resort’s contemporary Asiatic design is pared down to ensure sunshine flows through interiors, from bedrooms to cooling plunge pools. Kemiri restaurant boasts world-class, healthful cuisine, created with fresh local ingredients, subtle spicing and distinct Balinese flavours. A signature COMO Shambhala Retreat, replete with a range of holistic wellness therapies, help to nurture and relax, while cultural activities, such as visits to artisans, are complemented by a range of outdoor pursuits, including white-water rafting, mountain biking and trekking.
We’ll maintained throughout covid, this venue has all features open/available. Staff are very friendly. We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa; with 2 spacious bedrooms each with their own bathroom, a shared living and private pool overlooking the valley. Very quiet. Good a la carte breakfast options. Bar is very reasonably priced given the status of the hotel. Great experiences on offer. We did a private hike and water purification tour with a very knowledgeable tour guide- Pak Anom.

Located in the spiritually revered and picturesque area of Kedewatan, Ubud, Bali, The Royal Pita Maha's awesome atmosphere is enriched with its celestial history.
Adult platter price This us an excellent resort for a couple’s stay. We loved it!! We got the honeymoon package and was totally worth it. It all started with humble service at the front desk and just continued till the end. The welcome was nice with drinks. I wish I could have enjoyed more but it was 3.30am and we were tired of it travel. In day 1 we enjoyed the resort and didn’t go out much. The whole day was enough to enjoy the beauty, have nice massage and little swim in the pool. We also had candle light dinner. I must agree, the chef crossed the borders of expectations with this dinner. It was out of the world experience. The spa service is also good and we leveraged it for few times. All in all, great experience for the most awaited holidays after Covid and without kids… I also note that few comments are around siting some wildlife but we need to understand the resort is in Ubud and in woods. Although we had some wildlife siting, nothing was dangerous and was nothing unexpected…

Presided over by a sacred stone tiger, Amandari was designed after a traditional Balinese village on the verdant lip of the Ayung River Gorge. Free-standing guest suites are reached via winding pathways, while the curving swimming pool mimics the rice paddies below. Close to the artistic centre of Ubud, this place of peace invites both reflection and the exploration of Bali’s cultural heart.
The property is beautiful but understated. A lot of reviewers seem to expect more over the top flash - if you want that the Bulgari in Uluwatu is a better choice. The villas are very large and private. At most hotels in Bali something will go wrong and the staff will fix it - but nothing goes wrong at the Amandari. The service is so good you don't notice how easy it is - you never have to wait for a bill to sign or for the car to show up. Breakfast at the restaurant is fantastic. Dinner is not quite as good, frankly, but the hotel had very few guests when we were there so that might explain why. The property is also respectful of Balinese tradition - most places either ignore it or turn it into kitsch; the Amandari threads this needle perfectly.

My husband and I came here for our second night in Ubud. We did the Romantic Dinner at the infinity pool. The whole experience was great from beginning to end! They provided a driver for pick up and drop off. Our server, Widia, and the rest of the staff did a fantastic job in spacing out the courses and making sure we enjoyed the food. The views were breathtaking, especially since it was sunset. We will definitely do this again next time we visit Bali and Ubud.
