Corfu is studded with whitewashed houses, Byzantine churches, and the remains of Venetian fortresses and Greek temples. Wander the ancient streets of the Roman village of Kassiopi or explore the central Esplanade of the eponymous Corfu Town. For a DIY spa experience, lather yourself in mineral mud on the shore of the Canal D’Amour. Legend has it that the waterfalls of Nymphes used to attract the mythological beauties of the same name, who would flock to the village to bathe in the pristine waters.

6 star if possible. The staff made the trip special. There was nothing more they could have done for us. The food was spectacular at both the al la carte restaurants and the hotel restaurant. The beaches were great and the water as clear as can be. Special mention to Alexandros who greeted us upon arrival and showed us round and also Alexandros at the inside bar who had our cocktails nailed. 10/10 we will come again.

We stayed for 6 nights which we was very pleased with our stay. Staff pick you up in buggies and take you from reception to room and room to pool. Nothing is too much for the staff there. The pools although they were shallow they were all lovely and clean , and the adults only part of the resort was always very chilled and empty. Which made our stay even more enjoyable

What a fabulous host Eleni is. She arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport. Was there to show us our room , which was spotless & remained that way with daily cleaning , towels changed every other day & linen twice a week. The kitchenette was well equipped but the menu at the bar meant we never used it. The whole site was clean & the pool area was impressive. The staff were very friendly & helpful. There is some road noise but is limited due to the double glazing. There are lots of different restaurants within a 10 minute walk & a bus stops right out front to take you into Corfu Town. We were made to feel very welcome and intend to return again.

Roda Beach Resort & SPA is a gorgeous all-inclusive hotel located at the northeastern coast of Corfu, a few minutes walk from the village Roda. Spread out in 25 acres of beautiful gardens, it reaches its own sandy beach and the turquoise Ionian Sea.
Having visited the Roda Beach Hotel and Spa many years ago, we were delighted to find that the hotel was even better than we had remembered. The hotel catered for all ages and had a wonderful variety of entertainments and facilities. Our room was spacious and was cleaned on a daily basis. The dining areas were all very well taken care of, with a vast variety of foods available for all tastes. The staff in all areas of the hotel were friendly, helpful and did everything they could to make our stay a very memorable one. Would highly recommend.

In a magical location, upon one of the best beaches of Corfu, Kontogialos Beach, the journey of your dreams is illuminated by the famous Greek sun and has the smell of the sea breeze. Luxurious comfort, top services and exclusive facilities compose a complete hospitality experience for every member of the family, in Mayor Pelekas Monastery. Our hotel consists of 189 rooms, most of which have a panoramic view of the Ionian Sea and the majestic sunset of Corfu.
Extremely disappointed with this hotel It’s basically a glorified prison by the sea On the first night we got checked into a room that was a dirty little hole at the back of the hotel, it was worse than a dogs kennel, paint crumbling from the walls and the smell of drains. The noise of the car park with staff leaving after 1am, the constant slam of doors all hours, and selfish people shouting down the corridors keeping everyone awake. We asked to be moved which took over 2 days. Eventually after we kept on asking we got moved to what I thought was a better room. Larger and overlooking the sea. However after day 3 in this room I realised it was just the same - Terribly noisy with doors banging, furniture being dragged across the floor all hours, consistent stinky drain smell Evening entertainment which is usually fronted by the most annoying women you could imagine with a ridiculous booming voice that I can only describe sounds like the crazy frog! The entertainment goes on for hours late into the evening keeping everyone up even if they want to sleep, the speakers are almost shaking the windows of the rooms Maids rudely waking you up early in the morning ready to clean the rooms around 7am, Shouting and banging The food is basically the same every day Some small changes to it The vibe is depressing, everyone has disappointed looks on their faces. Which is no surprise considering the amount of money they have parted with to stay there and then realising the reality. Also The majority of staff have an attitude problem On the last day it rained heavily, I asked for an extra hour In the room so we could avoid the rain, and was told rudely no on the phoned and to come down at 11am So in summary - Please Do not stay here, it’s not worth the money and you will be unable to relax, you will start counting down the days to when you’re leaving from day 1, poor hotel indeed

Covered by calm and green scenery and just 20 meters from the beach, this beautiful 4 star all inclusive Hotel in Corfu Island invites you to discover perfect contentment for your summer holidays in Corfu island.
We love this hotel and have visited 3 times now. We stay on the back of the hotel (floor 4) where there is a lovely view of the hill and gardens. We travelled as a family of 4 with 2 daughters 11 and 8. Food, drink, sea and pools good as always. The water was fine for swimming temperature wise but I recommend beach shoes. Lots of fish so snorkelling is great. I think it is still quite early in the season so there was not as much evening entertainment as we are used to (we normally visit in August). Bedrooms are fairly basic but very clean - you are hardly in them anyway. Thank you so much to all the staff (waiters, bar staff, cleaners, cooks etc) who work so hard and made this another brilliant holiday at the Ionian Sun. A special mention must go to Spiros at the top pool, he plays great music and makes really nice cocktails. The lifeguard up there was great with my daughter when she grazed her foot (the smallest mark but she loved the attention). We hope to be back in the future!

Had such a lovely time here in September 2019. Such a friendly owner and his family who really made you feel at home. Studio was clean and very adequate for our self catering break. The balcony was magnificent and great to eat breakfast on a morning. Food and drinks lovely and only just a short walk into main drag where there are lots of shops and restaurants etc. Great little place. ?
