Since its inception in 1911, the Ponus Yacht Club (PYC) has offered its members a casual, friendly gathering place to relax and enjoy time with friends and family. Admire the view of Stamford Harbor and beautiful sunsets as you enjoy outdoor dining or sim
This is an old established yacht club with a pub style dining room. There are excellent views and easy parking. You don't have to be a member but you must press a button to gain entry and then there's a book to sign. The decor is tired and the carpet needs replacing but if you like outside dining there's a huge deck. The downside is they allow smoking on the deck and as you pass through the doors to to the deck there's a huge green garbage bin where they scrape the scraps! It needs to be removed. There's a small menu but the food is mostly good. The lobster rolls are served two ways - cold with a delicious dressing or hot with butter. The prawn dumplings were simple but full of flavour. I wasn't impressed with the fish and chips because the fish looked like it was out of a packet. The chips were good. The service is pleasant and timely but I wouldn't recommend going here to impress. It needs to be modernized and gutted with a new fit out. There's so much potential.I'd possibly return for the lobster rolls and I'd have given it an extra star for a better ambience.

Flinders Lane is the essence of craft cocktails, small plates & comfort food in a chic, contemporary environment. We take inspiration from our home town of Melbourne, Australia where cultures collide in the most delicious way. Cuisines of Southeast Asia w
My husband and I pass by this place almost every day. Since it is Stamford's annual restaurant week we tried it for lunch. The decor was nice, we had the pre fix menu for lunch. I had the dumplings, my husband had the sweet pepper dish. I had the Fosters fish and chips, He had the Australian meat pie. The service was good waitress was nice. The reason it got 4 instead of 5 stars. when I order fish and chips. The fish was delicious. I expect a decent size fish. The fish was the size of a piece of shrimp tempura. Maybe it was the lunch for restaurant week, I felt they were skimpy on the size of the fish. I can go other places for lunch and the size of the fish were bigger. We will try this place again when it's not restaurant week. for dinner.

I love this place! The cuisine is elevated bar food, they have hard cider (a must for me), and itâs a unique style of various different âroomsâ spread through the space. Very cozy and makes me feel like Iâm in Ireland - or at least not in my own state!

I did a walk through when the WFAN sports DJs were visiting recently. The place was very quiet for a Friday afternoon and the WFAN crew wasn't drawing any attention. The place seemed okay, but had no special draw. They do not have any dedicated parking. Worth a visit, if you are a sports person. I never hear of Bobby V being there for any reason. I sense he just let them use his name for a little piece of the action.

Became Palamnino then Bistro Latino a few years ago and recently closed. Too bad as the cooking was good. Just never made the place fee warm and welcoming.

A Bar and restaurant named a social club. The prices are very high , and the crowd is really random. You might have college kids , a hedge fund manager, and a teacher all having drinks. The dinner is traditional and menu varies. They do have reasonably good for, but overpriced . However you are in old Greenwich , so $$$ they make prices like so

A casual bar located in the atrium area of the Hyatt Regency. The bar is full service. The wine list is modest but has something for everyone. The food choices are good. The wait staff are friendly and helpful. They are busy and the service was on the slow side.

Great food, generous drinks, and a lively pub atmosphere you'll feel right at home in.
Dont miss the Crispy Egg Plant Frites, better than fried zucchini sticks with a generous dose of Parmesan cheese which gives it keen flavors. The Saucilito chicken sandwich had great flavors, a tiny bit to vinegary but I devoured it nonetheless. Service is great although the main course seems to come out a bit too quickly but nothing that will keep me away. This has become a regular place for me. Drinks reasonably priced.
