Decided to stop in for drinks and appetizers. Our very first time there and we left there feeling like family with the owners. The place is family owned and operated by a very nice couple and their son. The food is absolutely fantastic and Nick can serve up some fantastic drinks behind the bar. We have been back a handful of times and we have never been disappointed. We really love this place. Try the Gyro Pizza! It is awesome.

If you love beer, they have so many different types that there will be something for you. We came here looking at the reviews here on Tripadvisor and we were NOT disappointed. The food was delicious, and the server was attentive and great. The appetizers are HUGE so be warned. We had fried pickles, buffalo wings and Poutine. They were all great and filling. The prices are reasonable. If you are looking for good Providence food, Don't hesitate to try Federal Taphouse and Kitchen.

I found that most Hotel restaurants are not worth the hype or price. I found just the opposite with the Vig. Good service, great food with nice portions. My wife and I ate dinner here before an event at the DD Center and were surprised at the quality and prices. We also walked through the Vig after our event and it seemed like it was the place to be. Very crowded and everyone enjoying themselves. We may have to go for drink after the event next time we are in Providence.

went there last night for first time, had reservations, but not busy at 7 pm on a stormy night . Waitress was great, Jessica, had perfect timing with everything, knowledgeable about menu, specials, etc.. Made us feel comfortable. Food itself was also very good, had restaurant week menu, they had it placed in a sleeve with regular menu, so didn't have to ask for it like they make at some other restaurants. stuffed Portobello was wonderful, lots of goat cheese, our friend had calamari, said it was nice and tender, and husband had seafood chowder, he enjoyed that also, nice, creamy, lots of stock. Filet medallions, were tender, flavorful, each one unique. would order again. Lobster ravioli, order by 2 ,was full of lobster, creamy sauce, lots of extra lobster, 2 full claws, and chopped meat , A little heavy but they both finished it. Definatly will return and ask for Jessica .Even with a few tables, one large party, with 12 people, she didn't miss a beat.

Really great slider burgers - I had the bacon cheeseburg one , absolutely delicious. Moist meat fried right, crisp bacon and soft little bun, with pickle and shredded lettuce. Frys were also very good , thin crisp and hot !Funky setup , but homey and fun !

You will find so many interesting combinations of burgers to choose from, that you will find it almost impossible to choose. Specialty burgers with things like eggs, tortilla chips, Wisconsin blue cheese, All the way to your build your own typical burger. It's a small place tons of decorations on the walls, and tough parking. We tried it and we're happy we did,only complaint was the fries. Always get turned off when the old overcooked pieces from the fry basket, end up on your plate...

The staff were so accommodating and gave great recommendations and tips on what to order to my young daughter who had her first oysters and clams. They made us feel very welcome. An absolute must for anyone visting or living in the area. Great food with an absolutey fanstastic service. A special mention for Steve who made our dining experience an absolute pleasure.
